well, we got in (after driving from california on our way home to
minnesota)!! tickets seemed to be in short supply given the place holds
less than 3000. but i put out a positive vibe and a hundred dollar bill
and that got us 2 lawn seats.

the venue was great, the setting awesome and the show was rockin'. i
have especially been enjoying bob's delivery on some of his slower songs
such as it ain't me babe and tryin' to get to heaven. not a lot to say
except that the best part of the concert is being there, in the moment,
and grooving with bob and band. the crowd was definitely into it. i, for
one, was surprised at the short encore. i was watching through the
binoculars and could see everyone standing behind the curtain just
offstage obviously discussing something. then they came back out,
seeming as if they were going to play but instead did the formation and
left. the crowd was hooting and hollering for more but it was not to be.
perhaps it was, as someone else already mentioned, the lightning and
impending storm that caused them to quit a tad early. regardless, based
on what was played and how it was performed, the concert was fabulous.
cindy said it was the best of the 4 we've seen on this leg of the tour.
a fun time.

hope a boot surfaces! bob
