American record album sales statistics from RIAA (Recording
Industry of America) as of October 11, 2000
(with the exception of BOB DYLAN, which Bob Gill researched
at the Library of Congress).  Nothing on Live
1966 as of yet.

G for gold (500,000), P for platinum (1,000,000), M for
multi-platinum (2,000,000 plus). Each unit within set counts
as one unit toward certification, so that a 2 CD set would
need only sell 250,000 to be certified gold. The first date
is the release year. The latter date(s) are dates albums
reached G-P-M status.
