Nary a dull moment in that movie, but I suspect a lot would say the Dylan / Donovan 'Baby Blue' scene, or the Horace Judson takedown.

^ Basically, yes, even if Dylan seems a little bored at times.

I used to like the science student (Terry Ellis) scene. "Do you ever just be quiet, and just watch and don't say ONE WORD...?"

There's an outtake I've never seen before in the new Eric Clapton doc where Bob and Neuwirth are watching John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers on TV and raving about that new guitar player.

I'd like to see the entire footage. There's tons more. I wonder if the Tulsa Archives has it? I imagine DA would have given Bob everything he filmed, as that was what he was being paid for. So if Bob had a copy, it most likely has ended up in the museum.

There is much more performance material, including the original first time meeting with Donovan, which happened two weeks prior to the hotel gathering where it seemed Bob upstaged poor dumb Donovan.

Two weeks before, they both got together and DA filmed Donovan playing a new song he wrote, called Tangerine Eyes.

AFAIK no circulating copies exist, nor did Donovan ever perform that song again. Tangerine Eyes quickly evolved into To Sing For you IIRC, but no original lyrics exist to my knowledge.

I like the scene in the late-night restaurant after a show, when the two Bobs are giggling about the names of the dishes on the menu ("Can you mash the bangers and bang the mashers, or is that extra?"), and Brian Jones goes by outside on a unicycle. He's just there for a moment, but it's definitely him.

The argument about the thrown glass, I think.

Singin' the Hank William Songs in the hotel room is worth the price of admission

Very possible. Not much of a video head.
(Still haven’t even unpacked the vid disc that came with Trouble No Mo)
Not qualified.

I don't recall this from the original DLB either. DLB outtake ? ETD ?

I don't think it's an outtake. On the DVD I have, it's in the regular part of the movie, not the extras. But I think I have a pirated copy (it's got subtitles in Chinese). Maybe there are some slightly different edits circulating?

^ yeah, I don't recall that scene either. If you aren't joking, maybe it's in the '65 Revisited.

My favorite scenes are Donovan scenes, but probably not the ones you think. I like the evil "Donovan...he's our target for tomorrow" comment and also Bob's response to Grossman about the Folk Music award "tell them to give it to Donovan." That stuff cracks me up.

The scene with the High Sheriff's Lady and her two sons (or whatever they are).
And the scene where Al Grossmann and this other manager phone around to secure the best possible deal for Bob (and themselves), really showing off for the camera.

I'd have to say the scene where he plays Baby Blue for Donovan. When I was around 5 years old I saw a 30 second clip of it on a CD ROM that came with our first computer. It was the first time I ever heard Bob and really was the start of me being a fan.

Same here.
I've always been wondered by the way he strums the guitar.

Yes, I saw that. I almost thought it was faked! I wonder how much stuff like that is around.

Well MY favourite scenes are any of the ones with Alan Price in. Opening the bottle of Newcastle Brown on the piano, but especially where he is the only one with the balls to stand up to Dylan about Donovan - "He's a better guitarist than YOU". Top man.

Some of the audio seems suspicious, but it was an unexpected great scene.
