More coin flipping? Or an easy choice?

Thought some people would be staking their Dylan collection on the theory that Brownsville Girl was one of the most under rated songs Dylan ever released.

Hm maybe somebody will, but that's one song out of the whole album.

On most days I would choose to play Knocked Out Loaded over the other two. So, that's my vote. There's more to KOL than Brownsville Girl.

Side 2 of KOL is perfectly OK for sure.
Planet Waves winds this one hands down though!

Hmm, I'm going with Saved too. A very underrated member of the Christ trilogy; its contents consist of the most heartfelt and desperate songs of Dylan's three year pilgrimage, if not his whole career.

'Brownsville Girl' is the only song worth listening to on Knocked Out Loaded, and I return to Planet Waves about as often as I do Before the Flood, which is never.

Under Your Spell would get more praise if it was on a different album. Perfectly good album closer.

it's good to see all these polls with such similar albums in them to vote; makes tons of sense...

1. PW
2. KOL (I think it's unfairly maligned)
3. Saved

Knocked Out Loaded... What is there not to love about this album!!!

I love Saved too... But steel drums and a children's choir backing vocals? Bob was definitely pushing his boundaries. Too bad he didn't do some of that with his other albums. But then again, maybe a small dose is enough to inoculate the masses an satisfy those longings.

Well, there's the cover artwork for starters. In fact looking at the three albums in this poll none of them are redeemed by the quality of the artwork! Saved is awful!

I've voted for Planet Waves. It seems not to be very original. Dirge, Going Going Gone, Wedding song - there's a lot of reasons!
