The second vinyl in my box set has been mislabeled side c is side d and d is c. Has anyone else noticed the same issue?

Instant collector’s item.

Finally obtained an amazon autorip of the 8cd version. Have decided to start with London, disc 7 and 8. Previously only heard the streaming copy and some of the you tube clips back in November. Probably the easy option to got for London first as includes classics mixed with the new tunes. But it'll do for starters then back to the start.

I love this box set, but I have been surprised by the praise for the version of "Blowin' in the Wind". The screeching of the backing singers is awful. It's one of the few Dylan songs that I can't stand to listen to. The Basement Tapes version is much better.

Come to think of it, the Earl's Court show has a bit too much of this screeching compared to the earlier shows.

I have the same.... it was also mentioned on the Hoffman forum so there are clearly a few out there.

Just loving the 8 CD version, the set I have listened to this one more than any other edition of the Bootleg Series, but why is it so expensive on Amazon.co.uk, it is currently £504.81?

Maybe Bob himself touched the box !? :D

( and no Grammy for Bob, the winner is Mr. Bennett. )

One thing I've found interesting is that basically the deluxe version is just four different 2-CD sets, and I think it's a clever way to deal with the repetition of the songs across the set.

I apologise if this has been discussed, I trolled back ten pages and couldn't find anything on the dates for the earls court gig, disk 7 & 8. Did anyone figure out the dates for this and the san diego bonus disk? And I'm pushing it a bit here  but have the dates for the rehearsals and soundchecks appeared?

The dates are all listed here : http://bobdylan.com/news/bob-dylan-trouble-no-more-the-bootleg-series-vol-13-1979-1981-coming-november-3/

San Diego is from November 28, 1979, except track 7 & 8 on disc 2, they're from the 27th.

The box set is currently on Amazon Italy for 96 Euros. Have just invested, as I can't wait for it to come down again.

Mine's still in regular rotation after almost 6 months. It's by no means cheap
but I never regretted getting it.

I've listened to it almost every day since it came out. Still surprised by how great the live performances are.

"Making a Liar Outta Me" makes me wonder how many other great songs are left in the vault. Only the title was known and it was assumed to be a jam/mistitled cover/half idea, but instead proved to be a great almost fully formed song. I hope there are plenty of pleasant surprises left.

I am still in love with this box set.

If I get me a free weekend I will play the other box sets again in a row.

All the hassles with the delivery of this..................seems like a lifetime ago.

But it was well worth the wait.

Got it a week ago. I want to marry this box set. In a church. And I'm an avowed atheist.

I'm playing Disc 1 of my 2CD set at this very moment. I'm quite amazed at the transformation of some of these tracks from the original studio versions - never been the greatest fan of The Gospel Era and even now I find it difficult to play Shot of Love but I'm really enjoying listening to this!

The guitar solos on When You Gonna Wake Up? and Gonna Change My Way of Thinking are just incredible! Wish he would break the habit of a lifetime and play some of this latest Bootleg Series live!

I finally had the deluxe copy I bought from Bobdylan.com, including the San Diego discs, in my hands this Christmas... and I had to leave it all behind me without even having heard the 1st track

Dylan himself could write a terrific sad song with that story

Still haven't given this one single spin :?

I still haven't been able to bring myself to get this. Can't I just get everything from pre-existing boots?

Of course you can. Except for the audio quality. And 20 or so tracks that can't be found on any previous boots.

Huh. And is there any point in getting the Deluxe Edition? Are the concerts any good?
