Well, if it’s true that sales are as swift as mentioned, then it makes sense Dylan, Inc. would be scrambling to add more shows, if allowable.

Don’t know how Bob’s contract reads though.
Trend is less shows per year with age, but
maybe same income with less shows based on ticket prices?

There were 28 shows for each of 3 Legs in 2017...
and we have 23 slated for Spring 2018.

Would reckon that Dylan, Inc. will add more shows (5?) to the initial 2018 Tour Leg if agreements and additional payoffs are met. After all, it’s a business opportunity.
Also, Baden-Baden seems a funny place to end a tour.

We shall see.

Agreed on all counts. Interesting that there were 28 shows in each of the legs this year too. I wonder if that's a coincidence or not.

Just east into France is the most likely course I suppose, since there were just a couple of shows in Paris this year.

Fingers crossed a few more shows or a residency in an attractive venue will be announced before Xmas!

Yup. Would like that.

Meanwhile, Dylan, Inc. site has caught up and now posting all 23 shows too.

Mavis statement is still there as well, as follows:

On Tour
Mavis Staples will perform at all shows other than in Valley Center and Las Vegas.

Bob Dylan – Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981
Order Now: Deluxe | Deluxe download | Double CD | Vinyl | Bob Dylan Store

22 MAR 2018 Lisbon, Portugal
Altice Arena

etc...

and 19 Apr is still listing as follows:

APR 19, 2018
Oberhausen, Germany
KönigPALAST Krefeld

Good News!
Bill Pagel is back, yay Bill!
And boblinks lists the 2018 dates as well,
Combining years for ease, as he did in 2013/14 when the song variety drastically staticified.

April 19, 2018
Krefeld, Germany-- (Thursday)
KönigPALAST

(No Mavis mentioned on Bill’s site either)

Mavis is touring Europe next Summer, very unlikely that she would appear unannounced at Dylan shows in Europe prior to that, I'd say.

Are there no "choose your own seat" options?

I just cannot find them.

The venue Dylan has played in Oberhausen in the past is the König-Pilsener-Arena, thus the confusion, I suppose. It definitely is Krefeld, though.

Sure. On eventim.de go to "Saalplanbuchung".

Let's hope the busdrivers are not confused.

I remember years ago, when VfL Bochum played in the UEFA Cup, the team had to go to Lüttich for an away match. They arrived somewhat late, because the busdriver did not know he had to follow the signs reading Liége after crossing the border of Belgium.

well, looking at the tickets sales, Krefeld is the most likely show to be "cancelled due to scheduling conflicts". There are plenty of good seats left and from Leipzig to Krefeld it's a five hours ride…

since in more dates have been announced I'll guess will have to face the fact that the tour will end in Baden-Baden…. - strange. But on the other hand the Europen summer tour ended in Lörrach

Looks like it. I guess it's not too far from Baden Baden to Frankfurt airport.

Maybe it's a slightly short leg to accommodate some time off and then more dates in June-July.

On the other hand has it ever happened before that another week of dates has been added to the tour several weeks or a month or two after the main set of dates?

Yes, in 2015 the tour looked like to end in Amsterdam. All the other dates (strangely enough with shows in countries where shows had previously been announced) where added two months later.

I'd guess that there are indeed in talks about a EU summer festival tour (although it seems mighty late for that from a booking point of view) and the Spring tour might end in Baden Baden if that comes to pass. If plans for the EU summer tour fall through, they might add a few more in places they otherwise would have visited later on this year.

The bookings are probably long done, at least for any festivals. Some filler non-festival dates might still be in the works, but mainly I guess they want to sell the spring tour tickets first.

Are there any hints for summer-concerts in Europe except the strange Pori-announcement?

Well, those kind of rumoures usually come about because an artist, through his booker, has announced his availability for festivals in a certain timeframe. So even just one rumour kinda suggests that something is in the works.

Maybe they don't get enough offers to make it happen in the end, maybe they get so many that Pori won't be included, but I'd be very surprised if the rumour came out of thin air.

Reminds me of the apprentice being sent to the stores and told to ask for a long weight! I think the possibility for a U.K. gig in the first 2018 tour are near zero.

I've got a feeling in my water that Bob will be back in the U.K. in 2018

Hi,

Before goin' to (or thinking off....) everybody should hear this majestic concert. Sublime rendition by Bob and Band & supreme recording by Soomlos. Tops any concert of The Beacon run.

Salut and best wishes for 2018.

Bob still listed on Ticketmaster for 2 Pori shows... 20th and 21st...

Is the website's line up the final line up? Or could Bob still appear on the lineup?

Thanks Dark!
Looks like the link length rivals that of the tour length!
If possible, could someone snap a
screenshot and post the image here?

Thanx in advance!

I'd *guess* their line-up for the 20th and 21st is final, however the Festival will run from July 14-22 and the dates for July 14-18 and 22 have yet to be announced. Maybe they simply moved Bob to another date.

*If* another Euro Festival run happens, it'll be most likely Northern Europe and Finland would be a strong contender?!
