It doesn’t seem like the dream of bringing back anyone who has ever played with Bob before could really truly be considered a “shake up.” If he’s gonna do it, then let’s go all-out with something completely new.

Leaving this successful band in place is smart and wonderful.
Appreciate it for what it is.

They sound pretty vital to me on Spot's Innsbruck capture. As does their boss.

This has been a great band, but after all these years they're sounding tired,
redundant, oppressed, bombastic. Same old same old.

Time to shake things up.

I'm ready for Dylan to change the band.

Any type of change would be more than welcome. Even the little outro of Just Like..... was kinda neat for a bit. They still sound good, but things gave gotten extremely stale.

Nothing wrong with the players the problem is the bandleader neglects 98% of his recorded output.

Course, Bob Dylan has ALWAYS done what his fans want, so you change advocates will undoubtedly see new things momentarily - just don't hold your breath waiting.

I'm willing to do my part in this and volunteer to join the band as the other guitarist. Chances are good that no one will notice the difference in the sound as Bob will probably have my amp unplugged but my presence will noted as I will be the one that never stops smiling!

That and my Telecaster is probably the coolest Tele' on the planet.
