Again? Depends on the shuffle gods.
I like to shuffle my entire library (which includes all of Dylan and all of Theme Time Radio Hour). It works out that Dylan will pop up about 1 out of every 15 songs. The MoW remix actually did come up the other day and I listened to it again and smiled. I've also shared it with a couple of Dylan fans, so maybe I've listened to it 4 times(?)

No doubt the original MoW is the best, but it's not sacred.

I tried a second time and was horrified. I've been reluctant to go back and see which time I was wrong.

This will spawn legions of mixmaster dj's with their stems and their badass fruityloops rigs to process, quantize and autotune Bob's entire catalog to make it palatable to the Psy-boobie cluster punk crowd.

I am sure you are absolutely correct in that judgement, yes.

I think it was bobdylan.com a few years back that spawned these interesting mixes.

This is the REMIX.

I like it but wish he'd have kept a few more of the verses, the escalation from the relatively soft opening verses to wishing them all dead is a bit much, it needs the bit about not being able to buy back their souls to fully sell the righteous indignation of the final verse. Or maybe I'm just over thinking it. Be interested to see what the B-side is before I brave the RSD queues.

After 30 sec. I started to get sick, but a 1988 Bob-version saved me.

Maybe it’s exciting to someone who never heard Bob Dialin.
Likely pretty boring for those familiar with Bob’s works.

I've never heard of "Bob Dialin" but I also hated this version.

It takes all the teeth out of it. There's real hate in this song and the remix is a little too elevator music peppy dance beat for the lyrics. You don't tell someone even Jesus would never forgive them... envision their death in such vivid terms, etc... while you're shaking your ass on the dance floor.

Now a death metal screaming goth biting the heads off something real x hate you sort of thing might work. And I don't mean Eddie Vedder. That was still too x.

Not too impressed, but what's on the b-side of this RSD single?
