Sorry, I missed the original discussion when it was posted, I take it that it's nothing to get excited about. I'll compile a new Poll instead!!!

Just posted this on the other thread regarding this release over on the rare recordings part (linked on this thread as well a couple posts up [just a smidge... like two above this one]).
Figured putting it on this section will get more eyes in it.

~ Didn't pay much attention to this when it was released earlier this year because of being disappointed by previous broadcast releases.

Saw a link from the front page hERe just now and did some quick looking around on it with my phone. ... From what I read the sound has been remastered which makes me think the sound is better than anything else circulating. .. Stuff I've heard in the past from these shows is average quality at best. Both hizzyness & speed problems.

I notice one post on the rare recordings thread saying it's worth the while. ... Wondering if others have given this a spin and have any thoughts on it ... &/or comparisons to other recordings of the same shows or past broadcast releases?

.... Most likely going to get it either way. ... Listed on Amazon for like $17. ... LoL, the low price for 3 CD's is a good one, yet makes me think I should temper my expectations as well.~

It's mp3 sourced. Skips between all tracks.

The "label" is ROX VOX, who already messed up the Dylan/Petty Live on the Radio 86 CD, which was cobbled together from a variety of sources, some of which run too fast.

Avoid ROX VOX releases.

I've purchased the Rio show & '86 broadcasts by Rox Vox & they do in fact suck. ... just collect dust on my shelf.

Guess I was at least a little hopeful that the label got enough complaints about their previous mishap releases that they actually put a little time & effort into this '74 one.

Also, thanks for the heads up EddieCat about the skipping between tracks. ... That's a real bummer.
