Methinks it's all fiction, he's probably welding gates with buffalos or colouring in more versions of train tracks!!

Interesting rumours indeed.

As many as there are, one has to hit bullseye sooner or later, right?

Here's hoping.

If true, the release of an album recorded now would probably be released mid-year, correct? Perhaps between the first and second leg tour of 2018.

This has nothing to do with a new album,
but maybe shines a little light on the Mavis-learning-a-'new'-song rumor.

A recent article in Rolling Stone, she talks a little about Dylan and last years fall tour.

The quote is "Dylan even gave her a new song he wants to record as a duet sometime next year. We talked to her about the whole wild, wonderful experience."

As the interview is from 2016 and Change My Way hails from 1979 (already recorded by Mavis in 2002), this would almost certainly not refer to that song. Unless of course RS got the facts completely wrong.

However everyone should be pleased with the He's Funny That Way release,
truth is that this is making a new studio album more unlikely. Looks this the
recent rumours of Bob in the studio may well have been in order to record
this particular track. It's April and no solid leads or announcements.

I was thinking the same thing, and I don't have the credits to that new trrack, but at first glance, it seems unlikely that Don Was produced it? His trademark sound seems to be the exact opposite of this orchestral arrangement.

Rob Kaplan and Tom Murphy are the only producers I've seen connected to the "Universal Love" EP.

So whatever Don Was and Dylan were/are working on together remains a secret. (Don mentioned it during a January 2018 interview.)

The pic is from the Triplicate sessions as is the "New" song Hes Funny That Way, Al Schmitt produced it.

So we still dont know what he was doing with Don Was.

Word on the street is that Dylan's new, soon to be released album will be called Rainbow Pride.

In the picture we see his piano in the background. I thought there was no piano in the studio during the Sinatra-sessions?! On "He's Funny That Way" we hear a piano but I doubt that Dylan plays it (sorry, Bob! ) and I see vocals mic(s) in front of the piano. Maybe my brain want to see it, but I hope it's from a new record. And by the way...Al Schmitt isn't a producer and Don Was is....I guess it's likely he worked with Al and Don Was at the same time
