Recently went to the show in London which was superb. Can anyone help me with where Elizabeth's last 'speech' comes from. Is it from some Dylan writings or is it original McPherson? It was certainly very poetic.

I've got tickets to see it in March and am looking forward to it. Should I buy the soundtrack I wonder?

Only after you've watched it live!

I saw it at the weekend and its very good. If you have amazon prime, the soundtrack is presently available to stream as part of membership.

Listening to it in advance didn't spoil my enjoyment, the music really comes to life in the theatre but also in the context of the characters and the course of the play.

Only a couple of weeks to go, have still not heard the soundtrack but am looking forward to it. Btw, I see the CD compilation of Dylan originals that are in the show is at a reduced price now!

Went yesterday to the matinee performance, it was completely sold out which is pretty understandable as the run finishes Saturday. For me it went very quickly, I couldn't believe how quickly the interval came - this for me is a good sign. Sometimes, sitting in 'cramped' conditions - we were in Row 2 of the Grand Circle - I can't wait for the production to end but yesterday it could have run for another 30 minutes and I wouldn't have minded.
Obviously the music makes it and the only two let downs for me were Jokerman, a track I have never been that keen on and the fact that the title song must have got lost somewhere in a medley. I was hoping for Girl From The North Country to either start or finish the performance but thats only a small niggle. The story line was a bit quirky and difficult to keep up with but the end result was well worth seeing. Very glad I made the effort!

I was at the opening night, I am tempted to go again to see how its changed. When i seen it last summer i thought it was excellent.

I should add that I thought all the cast deserved full praise for their renditions of the Dylan's songs, they were all in fine voice. The only thing I found rather strange was the way a separate drum kit was placed near the front of the stage and some of the singers would take it in turn to hit the skins even though there seemed to be quite a good backing group.
