WOW thank you, they are up already, this must be a sign. I will wait till I have more time to decipher the message and hear what others think of the true meaning.

I think Bob is giving all of us some hope after a frightful 2016.

It really is a great album.

It's one that could just as easily have never been recorded, for all the reasons that it was a surprise to hear of its announcement in the first place.

Remember the smile on your face when the disc began and then Bob's voice came in singing 'Here Comes Santa Claus?'

This might be the most festive album Bob has ever recorded.

Dylan's light display (and its interpretation) is almost as rewarding as listening to Christmas In the Heart.

Its impossible to listen to Christmas In the Heart and not be overcome with hope, joy, love, and peace.

Maybe I'm being sentimental, maybe it's the time of year, or a change in the weather; admittedly I don't have it on continuous repeat and I might be deluding myself, but Christmas in the Heart certainly does seem to get better as time goes by.

But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.

Great album.

Yes, I seem to enjoy it more, every year. It has become part of our family tradition.
We always play it in the car on the way to grandmother's house.
My kids have grown up with it.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I have loved and listened to this gem ever since it was released (which was 9 months before our son was born), and as I type this now, I watch a six and a half year old boy sing and hum along to his favourite Dylan album while he assembles his Christmas present Lego sets, having myself indeed a Merry little Christmas.

I am not sure anyone will know the answer to this but I will ask anyway

I know that all royalties from the sale of this album, go to charities for ever.

However does anyone know, if every time Must be Santa, is played on the radio, do the royalties for the airplay also go to charity :?

Doubt it. Isn't it usually the songwriter, not the song or singer, who receives radio royalties, if any? Perhaps an arrangement was made though. Seems unlikely, but ya nevah know.

Thank you. This is my favorite line of the album. It's a doozy.

Got through Christmas In the Heart two and a half times on Saturday before being interrupted with less important stuff. As a result it was a pretty darn GREAT weekend!!!

I love the album too.

Not sure if it's been mentioned around here, but Target here in Australia is using Bob's version of "Must Be Santa" in the advertising leading up to Christmas. It's so weird to hear it on TV and even weirder on the PA system when walking around the store. Love it!
