Rosen: [respectful, but firm] “Okay, Bob, we’ve been putting this off for three years, at least. We’re going to have to give them what they want.”
Dylan: [playfully challenging] “Oh yeah? What’s that?"
Rosen: “The Blood on the Tracks bootleg series. We’ve had it ready to go for a long time, and all we need is a title to have it ready for the fall. So what do you think?”
Dylan: [grumbling with a Mona Lisa smile] “Uhhh… ‘More Blood, More Tracks’ — what else?” [exit, stage left]

I wish people would stop commenting on this thread. Every time it gets bumped, I click on it hoping to see a link to the new "Bootleg Series 14" blurb on Bob.com.

But every time, it's still rumour and wishes. I can't stand the disappointment..........

This is a rumor thread. I'm sure numerous announcement threads will be made once something is official.

Don’t know who Paul @ SuperDeluxeEdition is...
But here’s what is says:

Paul @ SuperDeluxeEdition @sedition - 4 min
The next @bobdylan 'Bootleg Series' will be volume 14. It is going to based around the Blood on the Tracks album and will be called "More Blood, More Tracks'. It will be released later this year. #BobDylan

Seems to be in-line with the rumor mill, so far.

More Blood, More Tracks? That just sounds like
a really poor title. That should just be so untrue.

Bootleg Series 14 - When the Heck is it being Released?

That would actually be a catchy title for the next Official Bootleg Series release.

I posted this in November 2015... Somehow it seems even MORE appropriate now than it did then... Although, at the time we were thinking OBS 13 would be related to Blood On the Tracks and OBS 14 would be gospel related.

Agreed! Haven't been truly excited about a release since the '66 box.

The title is as poor as 'The Cutting Edge' is. We'll get over it.

As long as they include the unknown and uncirculating solo version of Blood On The Tracks in its entirety, they can call the set whatever they please.

Yeah...does anyone know why this person would have this information and no one else would?

Superdeluxeedition site has been going a number of years, posting the latest deals being found on amazon and associated sites but mainly amazon. He also does promotion and works on reissues. So he's definitely got an "in" to whats going on in the music business. How accurate this announcement is is too early to tell, the fact its BOOT is no great claim but to name a title is interesting especially when nobody else has followed up on it.

He has posted jokes too, one of which was McCartney album release he made up for April Fools Day, Record Collector magazine took it as being serious and printed it in their next issue. So when Paul speaks its worth listening, but just curious as to why he's posted yet nobody else has. Time will tell.

This release has generated a lot of interest. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's thoughts when it's discovered the Blood On the Tracks tapes in the vault are from his attempt at death metal polka!

If that is the title, I can only assume they're going for something a bootleg might be called, otherwise it's awful.

Its a bit like people normally complain about the covers of Bob records , the only real thing of significance should be the content.

Absolutely not. If that be the case, why have a cover or a title at all.
Give the thing a number & put it in a paper bag.
You’re putting out a product. Dylan has taken more effort than most
conceiving of inventive song titles and album titles, as well as covers.
Much pains were taken with the Freewheeling, BIABH, H61, STC &
other covers, and Sony/Columbia have made presentation into an ART
through the bootleg series. (Tell Tale Signs was a brilliant title, btw)

Great album cover art has developed into a niche market, and for good
reason. Iconic covers fill numerous books & adorn many a wall.

Add to that the fact that we’re talking about one of the great album
covers & titles, for one of the greatest albums, in the history of rock ‘n
roll: Blood On The Tracks. Everything matters.

The title does reflect the content to an extent in my opinion. I mean, if BOOT was originally called Songs for My Witch of an Ex-Wife. It would have a far different public reception. Although, I also agree that for The Bootleg Series they don't really matter as much. Trouble No More doesn't diminish my appreciation for that release, or the cover; which I don't mind to be honest. Same with The Cutting Edge.

Great title (if correct). It accurately reflects the expectations of collectors and critics. That the title sounds like something a bootleg might be called should not be surprising, it's the BOOTLEG Series after all.

I just don't see this at all. Collectors and critics expect some trite title that repeats the word "More" like some cheap ad for a carpet store on local TV?

Y'all are just looking for reasons to be upset.

Title is perfectly fine, unerringly descriptive--right on target, so direct.
