Obviously "Black Diamond Bay" on "Desire".

And "Changing of the Guard" and "Senor" on "Street-Legal"

I also like When The Night Comes Falling.....on Empire B.

And I think We Better Talk this Over and Where are you Tonight are gems especially the later.

For me, Desire is one of his 5 best albums, and "Black Diamond Bay" is an undistinguished song on that record.

Desire was actually the best-selling album of his career at the time of release.

That was the first one that came to mind for me as well.

SIX posts in and no one has mentioned Brownsville Girl?
KOL is the worst. Brownsville Girl is at least top 25.

I know I'm an outlier on this but I really can't stand Brownsville Girl.

Pressing On, maybe?

To my knowledge, Desire is very popular among Asian Dylan fans.

The production is still a weakness but the song itself is pretty amazing.
I love the rap/spoken word rarities like this one & Long & Waster Years

I don’t know why. One of my Asian friends says he doesn’t care for
Dylan but One More Cup is one of his favourite songs ever.

Rank Strangers to Me from DITG. Silvio from that album is quite good as well, especially the live versions.

Cats in the well worked well as an opener on ooh i think 2007 european tour if my memory serves me well. But it isnt a great song imo
Born in time the bootleg 8 version helps you appreciate the song much more.
Under the red sky has a certain charm to it as a collection of songs but it was the first Bob Dylan album I ever bought, i rank it lower than the last 3 cover albums that people on here say he shouldnt have made, but I still enjoy UTRS sky when I revisit it.

Sales, schmales, I'm with RichardW on this one. Don't like Desire much, but Black Diamond Bay is its saving grace.

Males, schmales. My sister-in-law comes from a Portuguese-colonized island nation, which might suggest a connection to the song that you like, MJ, but I'll take one of the album duets, thank you very much. May I recommend Mozambique for its Portuguese roots, which I have by way of the United Methodist Church in Cambini? Or, while we're on the subject of geography, Fagner's Portuguese cover of Durango?

In the words of Nora Denney, "Mr. Wonka, I am a teacher of geography." And my fiance is getting me a duet date with Emmylou for my birthday

Good to see absolutely everyone agrees on "Desire".

I agree on "Brownsville Girl" on "Knocked Out Loaded"

Two more obvious ones:

"Jokerman" and "I and I" on "Infidels"

"Every Grain of Sand" and "Groom's Still Waiting At The Altar" on "Shot of Love"

(I can't really comment on "Dark Eyes" as I never get that far through "Empire Burlesque" - and album so bad it is banned in several countries for contravening the Geneva Conventions.)

Dirge stands absolutely head and shoulders over everything else on Planet Waves.

Not sure what's going on here, but should Infidels, Planet Waves, and Nashville Skyline be classified this way?
Yes, they might be disappointing, but "not so good"?
I like 'em!
