So, in the Mondo Scripto works Bob has hand written out his lyrics on sheets of A4 paper with the Black Buffalo personalised letterhead logo at the top of each page. I understand he uses the Black Buffalo logo in some of his artistic endeavours outside of music, notably his Black Buffalo Ironworks studio which I believe is located in Los Angeles. However, at the bottom of these Mondo Scripto works is an address (and phone number), seemingly for Black Buffalo located at : 7221 State Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.

I tried looking this address up on Google Maps in the hope to see a Street View of (possibly) Black Buffalo studios - but it turns out this address doesn’t exist! There doesn’t appear to be a State Street in Dayton at all - well, that’s what Google Maps is telling me.

So of course, I rang the number below the address and to my surprise got a recorded voice message saying “You’ve reached Black Buffalo, serving your art needs since 1975. Please leave a message and we’ll endeavour to get back to you”...

Now I’m just curious!... is this a real place? Or is it another Abernathy Building? What is Bob’s connection to Dayton, Ohio? Does he have a Black Buffalo studio there?

I remember there was a news story a couple of years ago about Dylan Inc opening offices in some non-descript parking lot in middle America. Was this Dayton? Can anyone remember what I'm on about?

Black Buffalo is the name of Bob's Ironworks studio. Could be a rogue address I think, otherwise everyone would be turning up
Please check out the Mondo Scripto thread where this has been discussed and everything Mondo Scripto

Are you able to distinguish between an A4 and a US letter when you see a piece of paper in a picture? I'm amazed. 8)

I must admit that my mind went there, too. "Old Man," "He Gives Us All His Love," they are all so good!
