Good show that, I was lucky enough to be at the rail. It was a lot better than Vienna the night before. The Die/Wal recording is ace.

yeah was great, been there too.
It was seated but in the first few rows everybody was standing. The People behind were very upset about that. On the recording you can hear how they complain constantly.

I've been listening to Belles new 1998 collection 'After Hours'
and this is one bad-ass version that she found!!
I love early 98...Bob is so on fire in these shows and the TOOM material
all is so fresh and exciting for him and the guys...
You've gotta hear Bob tear this one up:

And here's a terrific vid of the song being performed a week earlier at MSG in NYC:

Totally agree Marker, Belles did a fantastic job finding that one! This is one of my favorite songs, and the one from last summer was great too

I was seated in the front row until seconds before Bob came on when there was a stage rush and it was bedlam for the first few minutes. I joined in as had no chance of seeing anything had I stayed seated. I distinctly remember one German woman (approx 60) who was as strong as an Ox and physically hugged the rail, successfully resisting security's efforts to pull her away in the process. They spent a few too many seconds focussing on her and by then too many people had arrived at the front and any attempts to get people to sit again were futile from that point on.

Best live version that I've heard so far.

My favourite version:

Zürich, 13.11.2005 (with two fantastic solos, first Donnie's pedal steel and then Denny's electric guitar)

Other performances I like:

Lincoln, 25.10.2006

Boston, 12.11.2006
http://www.sendspace.com/file/540pi6

Salzburg, 11.6.2008 (includes an harmonica solo)

I recall it as one of many highlights of the recording I heard of the Zurich 2005 show, one of the really good ones from 2005.

Oh yes, I forgot! Zurich 2005 was another great show that I had the pleasure to attend. "Till I fell" was among the highlights.

Yeah its definitely the most inventive one from that year.
Bob's certainly the most committed...he's really acting through every verse.
And Denny was such a beautiful guitarist. He'd be perfect for today's current set.
His solo here has the quirkiness that Freddy had but a tad more refined and carefully constructed.

Anyways, here it is for those interested:
