I know BS14 hasn't been officially announced yet...
We know what it is, we think, and hopefully it really is,
since it's been promised for so long.
I'll just buy the damn thing and go full-tilt boogie deluxe again,
regardless of any speculation, rumors or hype. It doesn't matter.
Even if it turns out not to be Blood.

ANYHOW, ready for discussion of

Bootleg Series 15!

It will be an interesting turn for the Bootleg Series from here, it seems.

I'll drink a toast to this bootleg series using the best from Ithica as the centerpiece of a fall 1999 edition.

2cd's. No deluxe waffling for the rich folk. Just 120 balltearing minutes.

PS - thanks for the remaster, Ben!

The terrific Infidels sessions has to be coming down the pike sooner or later (hopefully sooner) right?

Personally, I'm really fed up with these "when the heck" titles now. It makes us all sound grumpy and impatient, like we think we're entitled.

Really? Like seriously?

I think some of you need a new hobby or to get out more!

But to answer your question, it will be released November 2019 (unless you order it via Sandbag and then you will get it in early 2020).

Come to think of it, I'm a bit fed up with mindless sarcasm too. :)

A sequel type of deal to Tell Tale Signs is what's needed. .. .. All those studio outtake gems that've been oh so well hidden from the start of this disaster we call The Millennium on through Tempest. ... Sprinkle in some of those M & A songs & a couple of those one-off live ones such as Billy 4 in '09 & you got dreams coming true all over the place.. ... It's time to have one not from the way, way-back machine and throw one in with recent stuff. .... & then throw in that Super Club or whatever else we already know is coming.

My two cents & a nickel anyways.

I think I'd rather have a boxed set of those magnificent early 2000's shows! (1990 / 1991 weren't the best performances imo)

It would make sense that the 75-76 RTR tours get a real BS overview to compensate for the 2 CD sampler and 9 track Hard Rain album. There's a TON of video and audio that hasn't seen the (official) light of day and if the rumors about the the Bob doc about the RTR are true, then a release that complements that would make the most sense.

^Hopefully a complete box set release like they did with ‘66 instead of a BS release of just a couple of shows and/or “highlights” like BS5.

Early 90's box set contents:
All the Shows 1990 - 1993
300 page full colour booklet with translations of songs into English from whatever language he was singing.
1 x Bottle of Dylan Whiskey to help with the CD's.
Wall Map of all the places visited
DVD and downloadable pictures with exclusive content on the Mega Ripoff Ultimate Exceptional Costly Costly You Know You Want It Limited Edition Boxed Set.

This'll be the best one yet!

Don't believe me?

Awesome!

Agreed! As far as I am concerned, if you look up "missed opportunity" in a dictionary you ought to find a picture of the BS5 cover.

For BS15 to be RTR I think is still the most likely thing to happen.
The Sixties has had a lot of attention over Volume 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 & 11,
and the Scorsese doc is being finished according to reliable sources.
If indeed it’s going to be RTR, it’ll be a quantity of tracks comparable
to Trouble No More.

I'm not saying you're wrong or that it doesn't make sense and that I know that I'm in the minority here and I'm thankful for any of it but man can we just give the 60s-70s horse a break.

I mean the NET alone has been 30 years and not one complete show.

Yea I think the BS is quite market driven in a way. It’s like they’re
saying ‘you’ve got the NET live, go visit Bob’s next show’. I personally
love the NET - a lot of people will be smitten with how amazing those
disks are going to be when they get around to it.

The NET has always taken the cake for me over even '66 and certainly the RTR especially '75 which we ALREADY HAVE.

This thread is a farce.

Why not discuss about bootleg series 16 and 17 and so on yet !?

Agreed. Absurd on so many levels I really don't even know where to start.

I agree that a 5 or 6 CD NET overview would be nice.
But it's tough to cover 30 years of none stop touring.
I think to do it justice it'd need to be a CDs worth of
track selections from each year, and as of now, that'd amount
to 30 CDs which wouldn't be a huge seller.
I think instead it'd be either JWH material or maybe even
New Morning / Planet Waves orientated.
Whilst i'd welcome a JWH Bootleg Series release, it'd be
a bore to hear anymore 60s material. We've had plenty already.
Chronicles Part 2 would be nice as-well, i remember not being
able to put that book down the first time i read it.
