Over the last twelve years I have secretly been researching an often overlooked area regarding Dylan... and the area to which I... per se... moi... am refering is Dylan posters that unexpectedly appear in non-Dylan movies.

To date I have discovered two movies where this occurs... and I discovered both only last week.

The first movie... The Italian Job (the original with Michael Caine)... There is a poster with Dylan on it hanging in the apartment of the character the Caine plays.

The second... and extremely unexpected movie to feature a Dylan poster was in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie 'Here Comes Trouble'

Can anyone else point me in the direction of other Dylan poster movies?

I can't think of a movie but I've seen Dylan posters on lots of TV shows. I remember seeing this one on Grey's Anatomy a few years ago.

Great post, ja-ja-ja-nalyn... I also recall seeing a poster of Dylan on the show that Jerry Springer's side-kick, Steve, was hosting a while back... the poster was located in the 'back-room' area... I got very excited at the time... well done, janalyn... very well done.

   ... I'll certainly second that... and what a great film it looks, too... bravo, SC... bravo... my only criticism is that the photo was rather small... I prefer big, full screen snaps... but other than that... simply fabulous.

Hi

I am new here.

The Boat that Rocked (think its called Pirate Radio in US). A few Bob Dylan LPs fall out of the hippy guys case when the boat sinks.

Walk the Line

Waltz with Bashir
Couldn't find a sample, but I think the picture of Bob was in a bar, you can't miss it in the background if you watch the movie - which is highly recommendable btw.! Maybe it was in this scene:

Do you find Bob in the sample? I'm not sure myself, it's been a while since I saw the movie, but I know Bob was in this room and I think I see him in two pictures on the wall...

I admire you thickboy for your years of fruitless toil. I'm so proud that finally, in the past week, it has all paid off. bully for you

I only guess that the Dylan picture appears in the same scene, but it's not visible in the linked pic itself... sorry for the misunderstanding.
