"Actress JULIETTE LEWIS wept with joy after bumping into her hero, singer/songwriter BOB DYLAN, in a New York elevator.

The NATURAL BORN KILLERS star did her best to remain calm despite being flooded with emotion.

She says, "I walked into this teensy weensy elevator and there he was. My heart literally jumped into my mouth, but I pretended to be cool. He said 'You're an actress aren't you?' and we made small talk and then I got out of the lift and got into my car and burst into tears."

Lewis, 32, explains that Dylan helped her through tough times during her younger years: "He held such meaning for me. During the hardest time in my life when I was 22, he was on repeat for like a year and a half. God, the guy must get that all the time - people weeping on him."

Whoopie Cat, you're gonna love this one...haha...Charolette Church who you are not very fond of got told by her nana to stop critisizing artists

Welsh singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH has been told to stop attacking other artists by her grandmother.

Church has slammed the likes of BRITNEY SPEARS, COLDPLAY'S CHRIS MARTIN and BOB DYLAN - but now has to hold her tongue.

The 19-year-old says, "My Nana told me 'You've got no right to slag off other artists. Why can't you be nice?' I'm probably just too honest. I probably shouldn't say so much."

Multimillionairess Charlotte has been heard calling singer/songwriter Dylan "a freak", Martin from Coldplay "dreary". She also criticised Spears for showing "all her bum and boobs".

George Galloway

Where can I find a copy of the recent Galloway vs Hitchens showdown in NYC? Galloway's position is anti-Iraq War, while Hitchens supports western intervention. Their debate was a highly-charged exchange of vitriolic insults, from all the accounts I've read. More heat than light, I expect, but as a piece of political theatre it would be interesting to watch.

Forthose of us still on celebrity fans rather than George Galloway, now that cricket's cool again in England, worth mentioning that Bob Willis' (Sky commentator and former fast bowler) first names are Robert George Dylan - he added the Dylan as a tribute sometime in 70s.

I thought we ended this. Well I guess not. I think you like to fight, I think you get a kick out of it judging by other threads. Not cool though

Charlotte Church is right...Coldplay are very dreary indeed. I suspect even her grandmother knows this.

How could you agree with Charlotte! She called Dylan gross or something like that. She has no right to lash out at people like that, just to make publicity. She needs to keep her thoughts to herself. And Coldplay are cool, I have nothing against Coldplay. Charlotte Church is a Bi*** :D

She can keep her unintelligent thoughts to herself. If she doesn't like somebody than that's ok, but to critisize them, and call them freaks, that's just beyond the line, hypocritical, and I have no respect for someone who says that.... and south, you are an x, that's my x choice

Oh yes, I do have many friends, going golfing today with one of them today, at about 1:30 in Truro, gonna go to the driving range to practice some first (I'm not the best golf player, but I'm getting better). I think im gonna try to make varsity golf next year.

Both Lindsay Lohan and Glenn Beck have worn Bob Dylan t-shirts.

The current Prime Minister David Cameron is apparently a huge fan of Bob Dylan. His deputy, Nick Clegg apparently a huge fan of Celine Dion.

Won't be lending out the CDs then?

I know this was said five years ago but Charlotte Church really needs to shut the fuck up. Dylan's a 'freak', the Pope's a 'Nazi', yeah and you're just a big fat thick Welsh cunt Charlotte, someone needs to shove a brick in her mouth.

I'd have to go with Indian independence leader, Mahatma Gandhi who was known to blast BIABH so loud that his neighbors would call local police (who, when they arrived and found out who it was would usually say "Woah, what do you want us to do? It's fuсking Gandhi, dude!"

Seen in this photo introducing Canned Heat's performance at the Woodstock Festival:
