Yeah, I find it unusual he hasn’t played this in concert as it’s not exactly atypical from the rest of his modern catalogue or overly lengthy either. Would work great on stage.

I have been listening to the Bootleg 8 alternate take on repeat recently, it’s truly superb.

~ I Feel A Change Coming On

~ It's All Good
.... Even, Jolene. ... Would just like to have some better live recordings of all the TTL songs (other than Forgetful Heart & Beyond Here Lies Nothing) with his voice in better form then when they were initially performed (IMO).

~ Can't Escape From You

~ Bye & Bye/Moonlight

~ When The Deal Goes Down
.... As solid replacement choices for the standards, but still fitting the more modern songs as already themed in the set.

~ Narrow Way
~ Tin Angel
.... Couple never performed favorites from Tempest that realistically would be just "one-offs" if ever played.

~ Mississippi
~ Queen Jane Approximately
.... Two that I really enjoy & believe could actually happen & have long lasting stints on the set.

~ Floater
~ Nettie Moore
.... Just because I dig the soothing sounds of the voilin.

In my car yesterday was listening to a '97 boot. ... One of the first I ever purchased at my local record store for $50 (sh@t you not) way back in the fall of 1998 area (fairly sure... such a long time ago). Different times & worth every dime.

It's an odd boot because I never saw it on bobsboots or mentioned anywhere ever since purchasing it. ... The label is "Zipperman" which is printed on both of the silver discs & it's a recording from what I consider "the overlooked El Ray Show" on 12/20/97. The title is "Parting The Red Sea From Jerusalem And Back." .... Great show with what I view as the definitive version of Tangled from that '97-'98 time area.

Anywhosles, the one that struck me yesterday was I'll Remember You from that show. ... Got me thinking that it would really work out well with the current sound. Especially with it being one of those songs that starts out slow and builds with energy as it moves along. .... Hopefully we get it while this phase of sound lasts. ... Twould be a good one.

Couldn't find the 12/20/97 version on the YouTube, but here's a 98 version.... Not as good as 12/20/97 one, but good enough to at least smell what I'm stepping in with it being performed nowadays:

https://youtu.be/FSolBsAM6oU - I'll Remember You starts at 4:15 .... second song from the 10/23/98 show.

I want to hear Hurricane!

It's been almost 45 years since it was last played.
