A sudden announcement of a tour-ending show in Illinois would be nice

I'd love to see Mavis again. She was great opening for Bob the last couple years.

It looks like she has several shows in October which would conflict with Bob's tour dates:

https://www.mavisstaples.com/#tour-section

Maybe she'll be at some shows but not others? Starting with October 30th, she only has 3 shows that conflict (Nov. 9, Nov. 11, Dec. 1). If she cancelled those she could join Bob for the last 24 shows of this leg.

^ I think its just another of bobdylan.com's hiccups. The site is a mess.

42 shows - two whole months from Oct4 to Dec3 - looks like this will be the longest leg of the NET

I guess you are right, the longest stretch of NET touring is still the 1989 Summer tour though, even if it was two legs, EU and North America. But it was over 70 shows three and a half months with just three days "off" in-between, that were spend crossing the Ocean.

Also, it might be worth pointing out that last two weeks of the tour will be in and around NYC, with minimal / no travelling and lots of days off. So the actual tour is only six weeks and 36 shows long, which is much closer to what he usually does these days.

The cool picture of the whiskey and sparks is still there though.
The only real eye-catcher on the entire page.

I agree with Dogg...that site needs a facelift. Keep the whiskey / sparks image though!

Still finding it interesting they'd only hop to one last stop in Philly, after the residency.
Maybe that decision surrounds the opening hoopla (& price paid to Bob) for the Philly venue?

I was wondering the same about the Philly show and also came to those conclusions. ... Has to be due to wanting Bob as their first act.. ... It's also advertised on the BD dot com tour page along with the NYC run where you click to see the dates. ... With that Charlie Texas date cancellation looks like it was added late and wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it costs the folks at The Met Philly a little extra.

Also been pondering if they'll add another show in Philly. ... Guessing that depends on how quickly the first night sells & whatnots.

Was hoping they'd sneak in a Boston date (11/21 or 22) as well, but with so many shows already booked I pretty much gave up on that one. ... Another Philly one is a lot more plausible

New guitarist being announced soon?
Really appreciate Geezerfreak’s tip that it’s coming.
Would they add someone in the mix mid-tour?
Probably for 2019?

Bob shows are SO GOOD right now.
Catch a fall show if you can!!!
