More Roma tickets available at ticketone Italy! A wonderful ER member messaged me yesterday that they just put on sale another batch of tickets for all of the Roma shows. I was able to get a nice floor seat. Thanks Guthrie!

A common venue technique.

Hold tickets and make them available in batches as demand necessitates.

It's called creating a sense of urgency.

Do you believe The Set would work well on a Ballpark Tour?

I believe we have discussed this before.

well, that comes as a real surprise…
Although I don't understand why it makes sense to return to Italy. Are these shows added because to high public demand for tickets or is it just meant to be another logistical nightmare?

Verona is going to be the only open air show on this tour (unless they close the roof, of course)

Thank God.
Ending in Baden-Baden just wouldn’t be right.

Let’s see what else gets added.

For the first bullet, high public demand. The others six shows went sold out in a few days, not to say hours.

Thanks Guthrie, for the heads up on new dates.
And Thanks for the Map link, Dark! Very helpful!
Where does he go from Verona? ...is now the question.

Quick Web translation of the front page article about the newly added shows:

Bob Dylan announces three new Italian concerts
by Emanuele Camilli - January 17, 2018

The Italians live by Bob Dylan become nine. The Nobel Prize for Literature, as well as the voice of Like a Rolling Stone and Mr. Tambourine Man, will play on April 25th at the RDS Stadium in Genoa, on 26th at the Pala Arrex in Jesolo and on April 27th at the Arena di Verona, locations that among other things, it also hosted its first Italian concert, which was staged in May 1984.

Bob Dylan was missing from the Italian stages since 2015. Three years full of events for the American singer-songwriter who saw him release three albums (Fallen Angels in 2016, Triplicate and the just released Trouble No More in 2017), to be awarded the Medal of Freedom from Obama and above all to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, honor never conferred before a musician.

Recall that the singer will be in Italy on April 3, 4 and 5 at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Rome, April 7 at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, April 8 at the Palabam in Mantua and April 9 at the Teatro Degli Arcimboldi from Milan. Tickets for the dates of Verona, Genoa and Jesolo will be available on the TicketOne circuit starting from 11:00 on Thursday 18 January. VIP packages can be purchased directly on the Bobdylan.com website.

crossing the Alps again for just three more shows? (it's some 650 kilometers from Baden-Baden to Genova) That's what I'd call a nighmare or at least: very stupid.

I don't think there will be any UK dates this tour. I believe they save the UK-, France, Netherlands- and Scandinavian-capacity for the next european-tour. The reverse conclusion of setting aside these potentials could be that they maybe plan another European-tour not too far in the future - maybe fall 2018 or at the latest another eastern-tour 2019.

That's what I think too, in reference to what was said above Guthrie.
Just consider that in spring 2017, he held the tour exclusively in Northern Europe, of course Bob had to pick up the Nobel Prize.
I'm italian and I was forced to go and see him in Liverpool last year! This year, however, he wanted to exaggerate ahah, nine dates in Italy are truly a record! But what is known about his love for Italy.
However, I would point out that lately the European tour is divided, once the northern countries, and once those of the south, first instead made Sweden / Italy on each tour. The lucky ones are the Germans who always catch at least a few dates in both situations!
