Somebody Touched Me was a great opener on some bootleg I heard from 99. I doubt he would ever play that again though.

Agreed, all of those traditional acoustic songs in those years were great openers.

Seems like he'll just stick with Things.
Path of least resistance.

Also, I just now noticed Dylan's Wife posts Homer as a location.
Lived there once a while back, Wife. Did we talk about this?

A fast and rocking "Gotta Serve Somebody" would be something

Sunshine Boy (Townes Van Zandt) could be a fantastic opener in my opinion.

Anyway I was very happy if Bob would decide to open the show with any Townes Van Zandt song or to play any Towns song within the set.

My dream was Bob doing a whole album with Townes Van Zandt songs - there are so many great songs of him and Bob could perform them in his own style.

Difficult to change "Things Have Changed" ahah, but I hope to hear as opener something from '65-'66 era!

I think he should bring back Buckets of Rain as the opener.
