Understood.
I drove an old Plymouth with no brakes, bald tires and 3-on-the-tree to tons of shows during that same time period.

This summer: 917 miles from Minneapolis to Barrie (according to Google Maps).

This has changed a bit after my experiences this summer. Last summer I was living in Minneapolis, but now I am living in Japan, in a city about 185 km (115 miles) from Tokyo.

I saw concerts in Singapore and Perth this summer, with the approximate distance covered being:

Tokyo to Singapore: 5312 km (3301 miles)
Singapore to Perth: 3912 km (2431 miles)
Total distance traveled, one way: 9224 km (5732 miles)

From my hometown in Wisconsin, USA, the distance is about...

Wisconsin to Singapore: 14,687 km (9126 miles)
Wisconsin to Perth: 17,373 km (10,795 miles)

Any way you add it up, it's safe to say that I will never travel farther to see Bob Dylan again!

England to San Francisco (For the Oakland,Reno and Vegas shows in 2005)
England to Rio (Rio and Sao Paulo shows, they were rubbish to be honest)

Shortest was in 2000 for the Portsmouth shows. At the time I lived about 3 miles away.

Most ridiculous was a flight on a Saturday to Boston from London, returning the next day. 2001. Great show though.
