If you're playing don't forget to log your picks before the show tonight. Be mindful of the time change if you're not in that time zone.

I just did it.

Ummm....the points really don't make any sense at all this tour.

Indeed. There seems to be more points for selecting the obvious songs. Also, how do we know if Bob is playing the capital letters version of Cross the Green Mountain or the lower case version?

I have just filled mine in and was thinking the same thing. The unusual ones seem to have less points. I've not done it for a couple of years.. I went back to read the rules, thinking it might have changed to a low score is the aim!

It's the main moderator's idea to do it tbis way this time, a sort of 'everybody wins' philosophy - check the "2014 Spring Tour Pool Game" thread on the main page for a full explanation and quite a bit of pushback from players.

Thanks, I will have a look.

The tour time on the site is off. You can still make changes now and the tour has started? Really everyone does win!

Yeah, they do one every tour unless there are problems with the site. If you need a team, let me know.

I scored 180 (who didn't?, you may well ask).

Sadly most of my new team couldn't pick their own noses.

Lol. Indeed it's a 142-way tie for first.
With the Dirty Gondoliers second overall!

There are teams? And yes I would love to be on a team! How do I get on one?

I just sent a PM to the leader of Sampson's Diners to see if she can add you to the team. It will be too late to play for this tour, but next tour you'll be all set to play. It's fun, especially when bob serves us some pot luck.

No, it's no problem. When you log on (you don't need to be registered), you can see how the game's played. It's easy.

Here's how it works:
You have to be a part of a team. I don't think there are any teams of 1 but I could be wrong.
Right before a tour kicks off, a list of songs will be posted on TheNeveringPool site and put into groups. They are assigned a point value.
You guess what songs you think Bob is most likely to sing in each group and mark it on your selection list.
It looks like this time point values are 10 points, 20 points and 30 points (for real rarities).
The next day (usually) the guys that run the site will tally the scores and post which team won for the show and who was the highest winner overall. As the tour progresses, an average high rating team score is figured as the best overall team scorer. Then at the end of the tour the winners will be posted to their front page.

When you watch a live setlist here, some of the people logged on here would have been checking the live setlist anyway. But some of those logged on are checking the setlist to see how they're doing at the Pool.

I scored 180. I am so hoping he mixes it up this tour to make the Pool more interesting.

If anybody wants to join a clueless team of one, DylanFool is the place. Also, I wonder if the user with the username larry.campbell69@gmail.co is the real thing. Probably not.

Oops sorry! I scored 170. Must have been some wishful thinking for a score of 180.
