Now that the current leg of the 2018 tour has ended, does anyone have any recommendations for great moments or particularly good shows from this year?

I am excited to hear the newly arranged Like a Rolling Stone from 28/8 in Christchurch but until that comes up, any tips?

When I Paint My Masterpiece from Newcastle AUS is just out of this world. After listening 3 times I was declaring it as one of the Top 10 of the last 10 years. I was a little drunk, but still...just damn incredible phrasing of those new lyrics.

I want to say I agree with Lucky Mathphil on Serve Somebody from the 24th as being especially good, but I'd have to listen again to make sure. If so, then Love Sick from the same day was really hot and "new" sounding to my ears, with lots of piano. Again, I'm not sure if that was the one - it's a bit of a jumble in my mind.

I just listened to it. I don't mean to put you on the spot but what exactly did you find compelling about it? Admittedly I don't favor that song live anymore.

Being close enough to see the sweat drip off face as he sang it.

Yeah that didn't come across on the recording. They should rework the song if they're gonna keep playing it. I went back and looked and my 1st live Visions was Perugia, Italy in 2001. The song was relatively rare until that year. The Dead did it in '86.

Things Have Changed from Auckland 08-26 knocked me out when I heard it. Bob and the band absolutely ace it. Powerful vocals.

Is 2018 Watchtower floating around somewhere? Would love to hear it.

SFY's capture of Newcastle is arguably the best sounding boot since the BB Soomlos remaster of Detroit 15.

http://bigozine2.com/roio/?p=4172 - Here's a good one for all of the downloading impaired out there.
8/14/18 full show ... track by track.

I've been listening to this off & on for a couple days now and highly recommend it. Great recording and show.

If you don't already know - the recording's on this site stay active until they cycle through with time. ... Think like a month or so before gone.

Here's another for the downloaded impaired out there. Full show track-by-track of the last show of the summer leg.

http://bigozine2.com/roio/?p=4179 - 8/28/18

It's labeled as a 'fairly good to very good' audience recording.

Enjoy yourselves out there!

Hopefully the upcoming leg is as good or better than the great performances already given this year. ... It's been a hell of a year for Bob & His Band!
