Looks like the Beacon is open November 22-December 3. What a terrific fall tour this is shaping up to be!

His recent Australia shows were so phenomenal and he looked to be enjoying himself so much- so I'm not surprised that his hitting the road for an unusually long 2 month stretch. Keep the shows rollin' on!

Here's some wishful thinking: an extensive US fall tour to promote a new album?!

Chance of happening ... 2,965 % ?

I sure hope so. It seems late considering there's been no announcement, but marketing is different these days, it may even "drop" at any unexpected moment...

A new album and More Blood at the same time seems far-fetched.
Would, of course, love it though!

A week long stand? Wonder what would happen.
Hoping for a decent recording to surface :)

An amazing and unexpected development and yet another reason to be thankful. And yet many I'm sure will find things to complain about...

Beacon Theatre Pre-sale is available to Citi cardholders starting September 18 at 10 a.m. until September 20 at 10 p.m..

What does this mean - "Citi cardholders"? Thought that there would be a fairer way fans could get Pre-sale tickets?

I posted this on the General Discussion page, I wouldn't consider travelling all that way unless I had the chance of fairly good tix so will there be anything left for the General Sale. How do you guys see it?

In terms of what it means, Citi is a major bank that issues credit cards. So if you have one of those credit cards, you will presumably get access to the presale. Of course, there is often an American Express presale, and it sometimes only applies to certain American Express credit cards, not all of them. So who knows with the Citi card presale.

But, my guess is that only certain seats will be made available for the presale. When the general sale occurs, there will likely still be plenty of good seats. By good seats, I mean seats in the first 10-15 rows; with these recent tours, it's so risky to get tickets in the first few rows that I tend to think sitting a few rows back is preferred.

Those seats, of course, will be $350-$550 VIP tickets most likely. I wouldn't be surprised if many of those seats remain available at the VIP price until days before the shows, at which time they will be offered at non-VIP prices. Or, people will think that they can make a profit on VIP seats by selling on StubHub, but they will soon discover that the demand just isn't there, so those third party tickets will also get much more affordable as the shows approach.

I know every show is unique, and maybe the NYC shows sell much better than others. But with so many consecutive nights, I would still assume that you will be able to find good seats during the general sale....grave

Thank you very much for all that info. I'm going to look at flights now to see how much the cost will work out to!

It's been pointed out to me that I can fly from Edinburgh to NYC for £200 return. This is a very tempting proposition.

I moved out of NYC last month, so I'm gonna wait and see if there's any setlist variation in the early dates before deciding whether to travel back down. Going to the Springfield show a week before, guessing the Beacon sets won't vary, but after this summer fingers crossed it continues opening up…
