If you plan a two week festival tour to start three weeks after your 70th birthday, your fans clearly are not your first priority. This is purely to cash in - and quite frankly, who wouldn't do it if he had the chance?

Glastonbury is not the only festival in the UK during the last weeks in June. Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park would be another possibility and they have so far only announced one headliner for the two-day festival (Bon Jovi).

This would be grand, just a bus ride away. I go to most shows and we just picnic outside the venue and if it's not too windy you can hear just fine. Enjoyed Neil Young,Clapton,The Police and others for free the last few summers. I'd probably pay to actually see Bob however.

Right on... and forget the opening acts, too. No one cares. This includes fellow "contemporaries".

Not that I'm keen on festivals, but goodness.... instead of being happy to see him at all....

And as far as cashing in on his 70th birthday is concerned, I don't think he plays for free at other times.

Hmmm. I don't want him to play any festivals either... Hop Farm was fun, but expensive and uncomfortable

An Autumn tour would be cool. I can't believe I'll be in uni them. Hopefully in Manchester. Means I won't be able to see any southern aquaintances at the shows. I hope I make some Bob friends at uni. Good god, I'm going to have to pay for my ticket as well, instead of sponging off my dad.

There's a rumor that Dylan will be one of the headliners at the Peace and Love Festival in Borlänge.

It's no fetish, it's all about making money.

Hard Rock in Hyde Park 24th-26th June would be an obvious call I would have thought...............no Headliner announced for the Sunday yet :)

What are these rumours? I have also heard these rumours from other forums however they cite this site as the source but I cannot find a real source. The sources seem to be circular in that it never leads to a legitimet source, just to someone on the forum saying that there are rumours!

Does he really need more money at this point? I don't really think that's it.

It's about making money and having an interesting time doing it. What's the big mystery?

So far, not one European date is officially confirmed.
If he'll be there, I think Borlänge will be listed when they make a big announcement about the European tour on bobdylan.com. If not, I guess the rumor was false.

Another possibility if Bob is going to be in London would be the London Feis in Finsbury Park on 18 June. It's promoted by Vince Power, who was involved in the organisation of the Fleadh festival which Bob headlined in 2004, at the same venue and with seemingly the same setup. Some details are expected tomorrow according to eFestivals website.

Just got the latest ISIS newsletter in the mail and Derek states that the festival shows are confirmed, though he is sworn to secrecy about the details.

Just saw this on the front page as well. A rumor I'd hope to be true, as it is in town and easily accessible by tube or bus. COME BOB COME.

Is there a website for the London Feis that I can't find for some reason?
