I saw Bob in Amsterdam on 8 and 9 april 2007
and in Paris on 23 April 2007. (Great ambiance in Paris by the way) I became a fan
only two years ago. How could I have missed this great human being! I'm so so sorry that I missed out on all the shows that he's done here in the Netherlands. BUMMER!!!

First show 78 at sold out Cincy Riverfront Stadium...tried in 74 to get tickets in Indy but sold in a flash...The 78 show was the leather jacketed show with 'big band' which my fellow concert
go-ers said was like a "Neil diamond show'.. I thought it was more like an Elvis show..he did one acoustic number "It aint me babe"..
The highlight was a new song called "Stepchild"...he opened with Muddy waters "I'm ready"...this sort of surprised me, but only a year or 2 earlier he had jammed with Muddy at some of Muddy's shows..(there was a blurb about this in Living Blues mag at that time..)
Also saw him in 81 gospel show at Cincy music hall, 88 Riverbend w/ the Alarm, 89 Riverbend with Steve Earle, 91 Dayton..."Wiggle Wiggle' played as well as the Marine Corps anthem. election night 92 at Music hall, Dayton hare Arena 98 with Bucky Baxter, Riverbend 99 w/Sexton, 01 Xavier U, 06 ballpark near lexington KY...(wanted to go to Columbus show the previous but overruled by my KY freinds...(naturally that was the concert when Eric Clapton appeared...)

dang....that Illinois Bobcat has got a helluva list.....very impressive. It looks like a lot of fun, Illinois Bobcat.........you followed Bob around from town to town on several occasions.

I don't regret that I missed Stockholm 2003, because the bootleg sounds like a bore.

Helsingborg had by far the most diverse setlist and was outdoors so I got much closer to Bob. Great rendition of Mr. Tambourine Man among others.

first show--some time around 1978, still trying to find it; I think it was in Towson or Baltimore, MD--I was about 18 or 19 and I thought Bob was dying.....literally


then it gets easier, cuz after living an entire life I started back with:

May 2, 2006--Davidson, NC (met up with best high school friend, what a gas! he played "She Belongs to Me" and I almost fainted)

August 19, 2006--Frederick, MD (went with my mum and fed her lines the whole way through; we both loved it!)

June 24, 2007--Hershey, PA (went with lifelong friend, last minute adventure; she laughed at me for being such an obsessive, but then I just found out she took her new husband to the Pittsburgh show a couple weeks ago--ha ha!)

Sept. 28, 2007--Columbia, MD (with anti-Bob Mr. Becca Lecca, my daughter's boyfriend and two other old friends who'd NEVER been to a concert of any kind! had a GREAT time with the boyfriend, another Bob-sessive with his own set of binoculars. Mr. Becca Lecca swore he hated it but danced ALL through the show!)

so where do I go to track down a 1978ish show in Towson? I see RainyDayMan, eekly, and Mark Loveland were also around then--would love to share impressions!
