Bayer Sager, Carole

Carole Bayer Sager, born 1947 in New York City. At the age of 15 her
teacher recognizes her talents for song writing and succeeds in
selling some of her compositions to a publisher. The Mindbenders
(UK-band) have a worldwide hit with her 'A groovy kind of love'. Her
reputation grows as also Leo Sayer and Aretha Franklin use her songs
and she writes the musical 'Georgie'. Producer Richard Perry
stimulates her in cutting an own album, that is released in 1977. The
single 'You're moving out today' is a true hit. In 1981 she marries
