Just saw Dylan about 10 hours ago in St. John's, Newfoundland. He played to
a sold out crowd and will do so again tonight. All I can say is awesome. He had
me and my husband spellbound. No opening act, not big leadup to his appearance.
Just the lights darkening and a voice saying please welcome Bob Dylan...and there
he was. Superb. Best concert yet.

Just came from the Dylan concert in St. John's, Newfoundland. Terrific show, four enchores. There was originally only one concert planned, tomorrow, but today's was put on after the quick sellout of Tuesday's tickets. The program was mixed with some predictable favourites like Lay Lady Lay, Mr. Tambourine Man, Masters of War ... His voice was better than I had expected. The times, they are a-changin', but Bob still rocked the audience, which consisted of a mix of nostalgic Baby Boomers, like myself, but also quite a few young people. HANS ROLLMANN
