Bob Dylan 2001.10.25 in St. Paul
Newsgroups: rec.music.dylan Subject: St. Paul Mn. show From: johanna2@home.com Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 01:19:22 GMT I'm back from the St. Paul show and totally wiped. Larry, Tony and Charlie in cranberry and Bob in white with black toes and heels on his white boots. I thought it was an excellent show! The highlights were all the Love and Theft songs, wonderful electric versions of High Water and Summer Days, far surpass the studio versions. And an amazing rockin' version of Honest With Me, great replacement for RDW. A new arrangement of "Mama, You Been On My Mind" was...well...positively bouncy and Positively 4th St. seemed rather uninspired. One of my fave songs too. It was a tough crowd, took LARS for them to remember their feet. I've posted 2 reviews, an ad and a concert announcement on my Hibbing page, links at the bottom of the main page at: http://members.home.net/johanna2/hibbing/index.htm Also posted my SNL card with Dana Carvey and David Spade as Dylan and Petty cause a couple of folks asked me too.
