When he first walked out around the curvature of the stage he looked pretty normal...and even taller than Lauryn Hill! :-) As soon as he got to the mike though, he started scratching his nose with his thumb while saying, "So this is the final Grammy of the evening for the Grammy for the album of the year." Whew! While Lauryn had successfully (mostly) ignored the nose scratching, she had to crack up at the way he delivered this line! It *was* a monster, though. She really wasn't allowed to say much at all. I guess they figured while they had Dylan, they'd get all they could out of him! He called out the names of the nominees and did a good job of waiting for the song clip to be played before announcing the name of the album and artist until he got to Carlos. At that point he just blurted it out before the clip even began. Then you could hear him laughing about it. Wish we could have seen that! Pan back to the presenters after the clips and there's Bob with his hands under his long overshirt hitching up his pants! He didn't do it quickly, either! He pursed his mouth and pointed to Carlos while Lauryn was opening the envelope. When the winners made it to the stage they had to herd Dylan out of the limelight. Was that the same woman who "forced" him to speak at the 1990 ceremony after being handed the award? Well, we knew it would be awkward, but cute....and it was. Just thought I'd mention it... Christine
