Subject: 30 Years After. The Dylan Albums review 1962-1965

Enclosed is a personal review of the entire Columbia Records Bob Dylan collection. This started as a message to a personal friend who asked that I recommend to her what Dylan albums she should buy. And since(to the best of my knowledge) I have the entire collection, I would review the entire collection and include some personal comments and favorite songs.

THE DISCLAIMER:

These opinions are mine, of course, and my opinions are no more-or-less valid than the opinions of any other Dylan fans, it's just my personal review. If you like the reviews let me know. If you don't like the reviews, you can let me know that too. I am, in no way-shape-or-form the final authority on Mr. Zimmerman, just a fanatic Dylanite with probably too much time on his hands. But, I had fun writing it. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Sincerely,

Jim Sherman

p.s. if there is an album in the Dylan Columbia Records collection that is not listed in these reviews, please let me know. I think I have all of them, but you never know. If I'm missing any I will get the missing CD and adjust the list accordingly. : )

The Rating system:

***** Five Stars. Classic, if you don't own this album, you have no taste in music.

**** Four Stars. Almost makes the top list, but you need a rating for something below the top list.

*** Three Stars. Hey, not bad, but get some of the higher rated stuff first.

** Two Stars. You will find something redeemable, but you have to listen a few times.

* One Star. One, maybe two good songs(maybe).

No Stars. If you own this album, you are me.
