Why is every post I make linking the Queen of England's cats with climate change and the growing dandruff crisis expunged?

I'm not a mod, but I play one on TV. I think the basis of your problem lies with the fact that the Queen is fond of dogs, not cats. Corgis, to be specific. Biting, nipping Corgis.

I am worried. A small white Fiat seems to be following me everywhere.

Cinders, there isn't one. I assume you're referring to the thread about having one that had been in this section. It was removed because at least four moderators had answered the request and our reasons behind the decision repeatedly. If we see that members can listen to and respect the moderators requests and directives in Political World, we won't rule out the possibility of having one in the future, thanks.

You could always start a thread in off-topic. You could start off one asking if cats really turn themselves to land on their feet no matter how low a height they are falling from. You could ask if anyone out there has abused viagra, and how did they feel about it? It's, you know, off-topic.

This should be cross-referenced with:

If pigs can fly...
If monkeys fly out of my butt...
If Bob opens with Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts...

Given the fact that the thread/question was first asked two and a half+ years ago I'm guessing no.

Do we really need an entire section for this subject on a Bob Dylan forum?? If you want to talk about it start a thread.

I would think the site owners would decide based on demand and since I don't see an avalanche of threads on the topic what's the point?

UP - when the holidays are over, you might want to ask KE about this. He would be the one to decide on new forums, etc.

Recently jcastro and chambre came to me and asked about adding the Spanish Boots forum. I sent the request to KE & he agreed to it provided there where enough members interested to warrant adding a Spanish language section (which there seems to be). I would imagine the same would be true for the type of forum topic you're inquiring about adding.

The Spanish Boots section has averaged 11 posts per day. Maybe enough to justify it. I will need more time to be sure if it was really necessary. Most likely Off Topic is sufficient to cover most things. Every new forum would create extra work for the moderators , which I doubt they need.
If it ain't broken , why try to fix it?
