Boo. I ordered mine from the Hop Farm's very own website and I must say they're being very inefficient. I'll be on the phone to them tomorrow.

Yep, camping. Just hoping the mice in our attic didn't get at the tents. They chewed some of my daughter's soft toys which we foolishly stashed up there.

Just an idea: as Los Lobos will play friday, what are the chances we'll see Hidalgo making a guest appearance on accordeon? That'd be more exciting than a possible appearance of Van Morrison imo.

Van Morrison is a fat miserable tw@t who used to make awesome music, but whose last 14 albums all sound the same. Clinton Heylin said that.

Caledonia Soul Orchestra Wooo!
I said that.

Nice, looking forward to Dr. John. This festival is getting better and better. Talking about the Last Waltz, I wouldn't mind Levon Helm being added to the line up.

Ok, now I'm pissed about this SEE tickets outlet. This is the email I received
Please note that you are required to collect your tickets for HOP FARM FESTIVAL
at The Hop Farm, Kent on 03/07/2010 at the venue on the
night of the show.

Recently many orders to overseas addresses, although sent via secure mail,
have been lost in the post. We are unable to track items through the
Royal Mail system once they have left the UK. Therefore, lost tickets cannot
be replaced. To minimise risk of loss we require that you collect your
tickets at the venue of the show.

Please refer to the following e-mail regarding the collection details.

If you have any queries, please fill in a contact form at the following link:
http://www.seetickets.com/see/content_contactus.asp

Yours sincerely

x that shit, if I ordered thru Ticketbastard or any other outlet I would already have the tickets. Also doesnt mention the camping pass. I hope I can just get a refund.

Hey friends. I live in London and I'm definitely going to this (Saturday only). I'm planning to leave by train from Charing Cross or London Bridge early in the morning, so if someone wants to join, send me a pm :D

A colleague who manages events catering has told me several franchises have withdrawn from this festival due to lack of payments upfront. Ominous indeed...

He will play 90 minutes if you are lucky, I have matured emotionally as well as intellectually hence the reason for my non-attendance.

I don't understand. Do you mean the little food vans and stalls at these festivals have not been paid by the festival organisers? I always assumed they had to pay the festival people to have a stall there. I've never been so confused.

What! You will miss all the other good acts too. I think you have made a grave error not getting tickets for this festival. And you know it..

I don't think he will, Lisa. I reckon Pete Doherty likes Bob-- he won't want to miss playing at the same fesitival as him.

So, what are the odds of Van staying overnight and duetting with Bob? And if so, what song? (Last time I saw Van he helicopted on out of there before the applause stopped).
