Sounds like you and your daughter will have a blast onemorecup! Anyone know if there will be just one big main stage or will there be some smaller stages set-up as well?

Best festival line-up this summer by far. I can't wait to see Bob Dylan, Ray Davies, Richard Thompson and Van Morrison in two days. Plus other interesting acts like Mumford & Sons, Devendra Banhart, Seasick Steve, Laura Marling, Los Lobos.

Blondie does seem an odd choice among the other artists though.

Bob Dylan, Ray Davies, Mumford and Sons, Seasick steve, Pete Doherty, Laura Marling, Johnny Flynn, Magic Numbers, Foy Vance - are all on stage one, aparantly devendra, whoever she is, clashes with bob on stage 2

Tunng are apparently whackily awesome. I hope they're on the main stage. I swear to god I'm not leaving that place all day!

Really? not heard of them I don't think. All day!? Yes best get a good spot early on and stay there I think haha

Do they allow you to take your own drink into the arena area at this place? I think I may need a bag of wine with me

Alrighty, I'm sticking with you and the wine nightly moth 8)

They probably won't let you bring drink into the arena though...that's what I've found from previous festivals and things. Always a way around that though. Last year we managed to bring in a bottle of vodka as my friend claimed it was medicine for her periorbitalcelluitis (an eye disease, she had sunglasses on for extra authenticity  ) and the security person opened it and sniffed it going "ok, go on through just had to check it wasn't somekind of spirit" Oh wow.

Haha that's cool you got through with vodka. And they sniffed it, what fools! Hahaha how much eye medicine was your friend taking into this festival? Yes most places don't seem to let you take your own alcohol into the stage area, there's only Glastonbury I've been to were they do. Yes there are always ways-- I usually try to get a bottle of red wine down the back of each wellie at these places. I have some specially shaped big wellies for this. Although I have a feeling it will be sunny so no wellies and maybe I willhave to use this eye medicine idea.. : ) That reminds me I remember hearing somewhere it's possible to get drunk by pouring alcohol into your eye, does anyone know if this is true

Me three (and four!) but we haven't got our Friday tickets yet. I'm going to try and sort that out tomorrow morning.

Who, if anyone, has received their tickets?
