He was one of the finest drummers in country & rock for my money. Understated, and always on the money. He would be in my "dream" lineup (living and otherwise) for a Dylan backup band.

Keltner played on the SImon and Garfunkle "old freinds" tour. There is a connection between keltner and Bob, its in the executive branch

Keltner's resume is phenomenal. He's played with everyone. Give yourself a treat and listen to Ry Cooder's "Into the Purple Valley." Whew!
