Yeah, that James Brown tune's hard to pin down. I've seen it listed as either 1962 or 1963, but saw it listed the most times as '63. Anyway, good call on the Sun Ra tune. I'll add it to the list.

First Season we got Bob's premature Countdown on the 13th of December; the 2007 one (in fact Countdown 2008 ) on 12DEC was fortunately not a cheap replay and was rather enjoyable.
I had a loud laugh listening to Bob's very poor French pronunciation (worse than his English! ). Cherry on the cake was to hear Cat Power for a second. Hopefully her turn will fully come soonish in Dylan's program, because she really deserves a nice push after her fantastic 'Jukebox' album released early this week.

Thanks for all the research, Stew; but the fine recording of "I Don't Intend To Die In Egyptland " seems to be from 1933. The recording and printed lyrics are included on the finest box set I own, Goodbye Babylon http://dust-digital.com/goodbye-babylon.htm [the same one which was given as a gift from Bob Dylan to Neil Young, who raved about it in a radio interview a few years ago]

I won't remember the Number One issue for a long time, except for track 6 about Jan Howard.

For me TTRH 63 was - without any doubt - the nicest walk Bob invited me to!!! I really enjoyed it.

Presidents Day TTRH #68 was rather scruffy and at certain moments looked like another fill up of leftovers far away from The White House.

Combining Wynonie Harris' song (I Feel That Old Age Coming On) made me smile as much ....

... as hearing Bob talking about Malady In A Minor instead of Melody In A Major.

Positive note : broadcasting the special 'High Hopes' 1960 elections version by Frankie Sinatra was a nice treat, Mr Dylan! Thanks!!!!
