From ISIS Homepage:

Dates are beginning to emerge for Bob shows in Europe for spring 2018. So far six dates in Italy have been announced. People might find it surprising that Dylan will be playing Europe in spring two years in succession but my understanding is that next year’s tour will take in countries that were not played in 2017, which was very much a tour of Northern Europe. Depending how the tour comes together, things can change, but currently there are no plans to play shows in the UK.

I really hope "in countries that were not playd in 2017" means rather "in regions that were not playd in 2017" so we can hope for concerts in Eastern or Southern Gemany.

they say that there are no plans for UK shows, but they say nothing about Bochum – weird!
But I would be surpirsed if there's going to be any show in Germany north of Munich or Stuttgart – unless the tour includes eastern Europe. In that case there might be a show in Dresden or Berlin (pure speculation, of course)

There could be some dates in Spain?

I think that's on the cards, also Southern France, Austria, Switzerland, Southern Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia - in fact anywhere that wasn't visited in Europe in 2017. Not sure about Greece though!

This is a bit a speculative rumor as I can't offer much in terms of concrete evidence. Still, it's possible that there will be a show in Lisbon (at the MEO Arena, maybe).

Also, it looks like some of the tickets for some of the Italian shows might go on sale earlier than announced.

Apparently nowhere-- While I was looking up the venues, I saw a couple of mentions to 10am for the last dates and 11am for Rome, but it must have been a typo or a mix of different time zones.

BTW, bobdylan.com still says that "Mavis Staples will perform at all shows other than in Valley Center and Las Vegas.".

I'm totally gonna complain if she doesn't show up in any of the European shows I might be able to attend...

not the most pleasent ticket sale – the best ticktes I could get are in row 8 (Rome I + II), row 5, but on the side (Rome III) and row 4 (Florence) and I was online at 11 a.m. sharp. I also missed the "chose your own seat" option

Yeah, I hate when they don't let you choose your seat. I tried a couple of times for Florence and I kept getting a first row seat somewhere on the far end of the floor and a row 8 in what might eventually be the other end of the floor. They should just let me decide what I believe to be the best seat available instead of assigning random numbers and claiming that's the best they have at the moment.

well, I didn't check it out for Florence but for Rome. Looking at the "pick your own seat" map for some other concert I found out that row 8 is really row eight AND that the start numbering the seats in the middle (seat 1 and 2 are in the middle, seat 25 or even 44 are on the sides)

Anyone familiar with the Rome venue and able to comment on it, particularly in relation to the quality of the acoustics? I believe there are several halls in the one complex but it is the Sala Santa Cecilia where Bob is performing.

I've never been there but it seems to be a venue designed for classical music. Thus the acoustics ought to be brilliant
Some information is to be found here (in English):

Looks like a pretty decent venue to see our boy.

Italy may be in the lead but they have failed to qualify for the World Cup finals for the first time in 60 years. Expect the place to be in a condition of national mourning!

Will Bob now have to change his plans and place the first show of the tour in Sweden? Perhaps that's the reason this is taking so long.

Last time Italy did not qualify for the World Cup finals was 1958, the same year Schalke 04 won it's last German championship. Is that a bad omen?

and don't forget that the World Cup finals in 1958 took place in – right - Sweden!

... where a 17 years and 249 days old Pelé (who was and still is seven months older than Bob Dylan) sealed the 5–2 win [against Sweden] with a header in injury time and Brazil were able to celebrate their first World Cup title.

Italy is in the lead.

Last time a EU started in Italy was in 1991, unless I am forgetting something? Judging by tourig patterns since then, a tour start in Zürich or any other neighboring Swiss city sounds plausible and then a move South to Italy? Unless of course they start considerably earlier than the first week of April (which was pretty much standard the last few years) and start up in say, Spain.
