In the corner of the No Chance Saloon, Trouble No More and Triplicate sit silently, glaring at each other.

I think a boycott is exactly what you need!

Except that they make rather a lot of noise.

I think it's going to be the Deluxe Set for me. I can do without the Bonus Cds.

I’ll check it out on streaming sites when it hits Spotify or something. Not enough interest to shell out money for it though. The era doesn’t appeal to me and the tracks that’ve already been released did nothing to sell it for me.

Same here. Maybe if/when the price drops I may consider it, if only for completist reasons.

I'd far rather listen to Triplicate, tbh (and that was sold at a fair price).

If a boycott would help, I'd be the first to go along with it (because it doesn't help, I'll boycott a little bit and lend it).
I'm still hoping that more interesting material will be published one day - after all this tripilcate- and missionary gospel-stuff I'm not sure, if this will be within my lifetime)

The bonus CDs are currently my most recurring wet dream.
I cant wait to have this box in my hands, open it and examine every item, expose it on the shelf and contemplate it in ecstasy...
I'll probably also listen to it all at some point

A friend of mine purchased it. I’ll be copying his or the digital download. I don’t do CDs.

The digital download is much less expensive, so I'll probably do that, but I feel I need the deluxe version in my life.

Deluxe Package for me. Ordering from bobdylan.com was too expensive, so I'll be missing out on the two bonus discs, unfortunately.

The bonus discs will be released as import as we say here in Austria, as bootleg to say it clear.

They did the same with the 65 concerts from the bonus download from Bootleg Series Vol. XII, it´s a 15 CDs box.

Ordering the deluxe w/ bonus set (as most are here, it seems). I recently rehabilitated my stereo system and my record player is sounding real nice, so might pick it up on vinyl as well if I'm appropriately thrilled.

Unless the price for the standard 2CD edition comes way down, this will be the first edition of the Bootleg Series that I won't buy. Happy BitTorrenting...

I can wait for it on streaming, too. I liked the alt. of EGOS that was on YT, maybe there will be a few others things of interest. But this era interests me less than it used to. Second big Dylan release I'm not buying, after Triplesnooze.

The biggest drawback I see to this release is there should be another show or two. This was a great era and we're being short changed.

I wonder if there's any chance they'll release an Official Bootleg Series 13, Part Two?

Not much room for the 2CD to come down, as it is only $17 on amazon, and eligible for free shipping. The 9 CD is down to $130 ($50 below the initial price). It is getting down to the level that I would consider paying. Will probably wait another week or two before deciding whether to go for it.

It's £16.99 on Amazon UK. I'm not paying that, end of story. They can whistle for it. If it was £10 I'd bite. But given the price, and the ridiculous price(s) of the deluxe edition(s), plus the fact that this is a far from comprehensive release - even I know of songs and performances it inexplicably omits - my best bet is to shrug it off and wait for downloads and/or streaming.

Sounds like a fair price to me as well! You would buy the 2 disc edition for £10? That's a totally unrealistic price considering this is a completely new release of previously unreleased archival material and not just a repackaged album or compilation.
I completely understand people who say that the deluxe edition is expensive because it actually is. But also in this case, it's justified. Come on, 8 CDs of unreleased material plus a DVD containing a newly produced movie? What do you expect? The value for money is much better compared to The Cutting Edge from 2015. That one contained 6 CDs. Or think of Tell Tale Signs and its 3 CDs.
