Can't wait either. I became a Dylan fan in '79, so those early years were pretty much gospelised. I think most fans' perception of an artist's body of work is influenced by the period they were first exposed to, even more so during teenage years. Objectively though, however much the message grated on occasion, this was a high octane phase with some great gigs and inspired singing, and the last time we saw Dylan-against-the-world in his long career.

Closest we've had so far is this Spanish article that leaked some info. http://www.excelsior.com.mx/funcion/2017/09/07/1186785

Really the only new thing within it is this: "Trouble No More, like other bootlegs, collects alternative tracks, discarded recording sessions and other unpublished lyrics, but this time includes 15 new songs from a time when Bob Dylan changed the course of his musical career."

And this curious line that suggests a press premiere will be/has happened in London for the new doc: "On the same subject, the documentary Trouble No More, about the singer's evangelical period, was presented to the press in London before its premiere at the New York Film Festival next October and where emblematic concerts such as Toronto and Buffalo on the Slow Training Coming tour."

Maybe they postponed the announcement because of all the hurricanes and earthquakes going on? Probably not since new music is still being released, but maybe they want to announce it at quiet news time so it will get as much coverage as possible.

Perhaps the Gospel BLS was just a red herring and they were going to release a Desire bootleg series- called Hurricane

The release has been canceled. There will be no BS13.

If that doesn't stir the ire of the Almighty to hasten the Second Coming with wrath and vengeance, nothing will...

Highly unlikely, as this is a worldwide business operation and the events you mention are stricly regional.

You never know when a catastrophe will hit. Also, it would be more important to have a incident free release week rather than an incident free announcement day/week. Dylan Inc. surely wouldn't have picked September 11, 2001 for the 'Love And Theft' release if they could have imagined what would happen.

All these hurricanes and earthquakes going on right now are because God doesn't want the gospel stuff released. They're skipping BS13 and going straight to BS14 for good luck.

I think this is the most credible theory yet

Is the Official Bootleg Series 14 the Empire Burlesque and Knocked Out Loaded sessions?

That would be a SWEET follow up to the gospel material... It would be like dying and going to heaven!!!

Come on, Nightingale's Code, think about spending eternity listening to the children's choir enhancing all of Bob's songs like their contribution to They Killed Him. Does that not send chills through you?!

Yes, that egregious song has to be the nadir of Bob's recording career....
