There were those songs that had outstayed their welcome and many others that could have been rested. However, of all those that have gone I have to say that if I was at a show I would really miss Love Sick. I know it's been replaced by another TOOM classic but it's not the same tempo and when Bob was on top of his game you could feel the angst in the lyrics!

Make You Feel My Love is hardly in the same league as Love Sick.
Just when you think he couldn't water down the set any more...

Same here.

"Make you feel" is sad. Love Sick is bitter.

Make You Feel My Love is pop. Love Sick is art.

I don't do Dylan T-shirts currently, but I will let you intertextual-textilize me.

If you like it so much you download all the live versions and probably listen non-stop for a year without repeating. I agree that the replacement isn't as good but he's dropped Highwater also and he doesn't have that many "hits" from the last 25 years to choose from.

With the changes that have been made The Set feels like a different experience than what we got a year or two or three ago...and that would be the big question for me when deciding whether to make the significant investment involved in seeing a show.

Both songs are good but I would rather see Love Sick over Make You Feel My Love. Love Sick is bound to come back.

Let's mention the elephant in the room. Spirit On The Water?? Where are ye? I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses that highlight...

R U extracting the urine as they say? Spirit needed to be rested ten tours ago, it way out stayed it's welcome. Love Sick was still a highlight of the set and on a good night I'm sure it made the hairs on my back stand to attention.

The current SET goes by so fast I did not even know it was gone.

He walked over to the piano after walking around, then BAM into "Early Roman Kings"

It would be nice to include "Standing in the Doorway"

or "Tryin' To Get To Heaven" this one would be nice in his voice on this tour.

I declare that the age of the Set ended at the desert show. What we have now is this set, that set, or another set. Intermission was a critical part of The Set. After listening to a couple summer shows, methinks the Wolfman is coming back soon!

I'd rather hear make you feel my love than love sick, but that's just my personal taste. I like the sentiment of the song. Although, if he brought back the "closer" love sick from 2015, I'd gladly take that. I absolutely loved that rocking arrangement. Never heard the song sound so good.
