Summerfest's 50th is closing with a festival within the festival ending with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell and more July 9

The American Family Insurance Amphitheater, formerly the Marcus Amphitheater, will close with the Outlaw Music Festival on July 9. The eye-popping lineup of legendary, acclaimed and up-and-coming Americana acts includes Willie Nelson & Family; recent Nobel Prize recipient Bob Dylan & His Band; Sheryl Crow; Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit; Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats; Margo Price; and Willie Nelson's son Lukas Nelson's band Promise of the Real.

The Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson began as a one-off event in Scranton, Pa., last September. It's returning as a six-date tour this July, with additional stops in New Orleans; Dallas; Rogers, Ark.; Detroit; and Syracuse, N.Y. The Summerfest lineup is the fullest, one of only two shows featuring Dylan, and the only tour stop with rollicking live act Rateliff.

Tickets are available at the Summerfest box office (200 N. Harbor Drive); Ticketmaster retail outlets; Wal-Mart stores in southeastern Wisconsin; at ticketmaster.com; or by calling (800) 745-3000, (866) 448-7849 or (414) 273-2600. Prices will include Summerfest general admission on July 9. The Outlaw festival will last from 2 to 11 p.m. July 9.

Is anybody driving from Green Bay? I just moved here yesterday and this will be my second Dylan show after Peoria's Americanarama. I don't have a vehicle anymore but would be happy to split gas and/or driving. Or I'll take the bus, it's only $17. Or maybe I'll hitchhike. One way or another. I won't get my hopes up about hearing Bob play guitar or do "Mississippi" or a duet with Willie Nelson, I just hope it's as enjoyable as any of the this year's recordings I've heard (all of Europe, three U.S. dates). Quite looking forward to Willie and Margo as well.

This is why that Who's Going Where is so helpful to all. Not only do we know who to send good wishes for a good show to, we also know who will supply an unbiased review of the show and furthermore there is the chance to help or be helped with travel. Another plus is to know who you might have the chance to meet up with.

I think it's a bit late in the day for this tour and anyway shouldn't it be done by someone who lives somewhere near the tour area?

About to leave to drive up to Milwaukee! A little bummed that this will be shorter set because of the festival, but still super pumped. This will be my 22nd Bob show since 2009. Fingers are crossed for a duet with Willie, but I'm not expecting it. Cheers, fellow Bob fans!

If I had a pot to piss in I'd likely be making the drive up from Chicago, but I do not. I haven't seen the man since fall of 2014!!! Very jealous of those in attendence but wishing you a great show all the same.

I'm with you there! This was the closest show to me this tour but I couldn't swing it. Never been to Milwaukee

I went about 20 years ago. All I remember is touring the brewery where Jeffery Dahmer worked!

Shame you won't see Margo Price, I'd like to know what others think if they see her set! Anyway, enjoy the day everybody!

No doubt it will be a show to remember.
Missed chance for Standby seat and gave up the ghost due to work responsibilities.
It happens occasionally.
It was a slim chance to begin with, although I thought I might break on through, oh well.
Have a GREAT time at Summerfest all!
Saw Bob debut Forgetful Heart there once.

Bob's set got pushed back to 8:05, Willie at 9:50, which means I probably won't be able to stay for his whole set. My seat is about 9 rows back from the rail on the right side. A little worried that I won't have a good view of Bob if he stays by his piano most of the night.

I think you'll be OK there Superhuman.
He won't be at the piano all night anyhow.
I'm guessing you are perched better than you think.
All the best to you.

Thanks, Barefoot! Can't complain, as I'm at the show.

Charlie stood on the side of the stage during Sheryl's set and looked like he was having a great time. Tony came out for a minute and then disappeared.
