Summer Days has always felt a little flat to me since 2002 (maybe extend that to 2004), so getting a makeover is fantastic! This is a blast, and Bob even sounds like he is enjoying the new groove.....grave

Any photos of Bob on guitar from either of the last two nights?

Last night was my first Bob show ever and I had so, so, so much fun. I'd been following the setlists so I guess I knew what was coming, but still... Things Have Changed, Don't Think Twice, Summer Days, Duquesne Whistle, my God... I love these songs so much. And Desolation Row? Wow... Maybe someone more experienced will have something more intelligent to say about it all but I was just floored.

Great show last night! Better than night 1 (I missed night 2). Bob on guitar was great - not that that his noodles were anything special, but he put a lot more into DTT vocally than he did the first night. It became a highlight. Love the Summer Days fiddle arrangement too, never thought I'd be so excited to see that song. Scarlet Town was a knockout too, very spooky.

A shame to lose the new Tangled arrangement so quickly though, I really liked it. And cool that he's added This Nearly Was Mine, but I didn't think it was one of the stronger standards he performed (Autumn Leaves, Stormy Weather, and Why Try To Change Me Now were the best of the bunch I thought).

Sometimes the first timers just say it best. And this is one of those times.

Anybody catch Jimmy Fallon last night? Just heard from someone that he was talking about this great concert he attended at Port Chester, eventually saying it was the Bob Dylan show! "Fantastic.....awesome." "The coolest thing is that he doesn't allow cellphones....and everyone obeys him." He also lists some of his favorite songs from the night, says he could understand everything he said, and so on. Here's the link....grave

So is there probably not going to be a video of Bob playing guitar from these shows?

I don't listen to most performances, but for what it's worth, Port Chester 14/06 might be the best Dylan show I've heard in a long time. The band are piping hot, the new arrangements brimming with vitality, Dylan's voice holds the texture, depth and authority of a Bukka White, and his phrasing inventive and clear.

I hope the new set list stays around in it's current form or something similar, the songs flow really well. I don't mind the extra standard thrown in.

By the way, the beginning of "Summer Days" really reminds me of Neil Young's "Comes a Time".

Recording of night #3 (and a second source for night #2) up on Dime. Still nothing for night #1 that I've seen.

This place is my new favourite theatre. I loved everything about it and actually bought venue merch for the first time in my life. It'll definitely be on my radar for upcoming shows.

Bob was great and played guitar which I hadn't seen in nearly 5 years which was super unexpected and exciting. He sang songs, sounded good and looked cool.
