Thanks for the info Alouette. In light of the article item #9 on the main page today, 4/25, I think as many local fans should endeavor to attend the Kingston planning board meeting on May 8th. I live almost an hour away and I will try to be there. I don't think there is any way they could stop the concerts, but better safe than sorry. I know from personal experience that numbers mean something to municipal board members. They will be much less likely to speak against the events if faced with a throng of fans. IMHO. I will check the time of the meeting, and keep E/R members apprised.

I was confused while looking for tickets for Kingston, when I saw both Standing and Seating General Admission......

Standing GA has to be nearest the stage, floor standing, right ?

I would imagine the seats are behind and to the sides of the standing area ?

Can anyone confirm ?

Thanks.

To Chester's question I was told when I bought tickets at the pre sale in Poughkeepsie that the $125 tickets were the front 20 or so rows of seats and that the $75 G/A were in the back. You could call the Bardavon to confirm they are very helpful.

Thanks for confirming, Buicksix....you are correct.

With the great advice from Miss Alouette, and PM from a little gummy bird, I informed mrs. drawers, and she was able to secure for us, two $ 125.00 tickets "in the first 20 rows" for Saturday, June 24th !.....(and parking......we are hoping w/o need for a shuttle.....as its a 160 mile drive for us, and we aint as young as we used to be.....).

If everything goes as planned, this will be my 14th consecutive year with a BOB SHOW !
57th show in that time period.......

5 weeks from tomorrow !!!!!!!

I'd plan a meet-up with the ER'ers attending.......but I'm very anti-social.....(nothing personal).....we'll see.............seems very funny to me when I see it in writing......

wondering if anyone attended the "Smorgasburg" at the Brickyard over the weekend.

if so, do you think these concerns are justified?

we're driving 600+ miles to attend the first show at this venue (dragging my mr....kicking and screaming) and since it's my only date on this tour, i'm praying for an enjoyable experience, NOT an historic fiasco!

We went to Smorgasburg at Hutton Brickyards Saturday. I asked a security/staff person about the possible lay out for the concerts and they didn't have much info. There is a large open pavilion with a smaller one along side it and some open space (gravel dust surface) There is some parking around the venue on the Hutton property. Looks like a tight squeeze for 3,500 people. Hoping for the best is all I can say at this point. I've got tickets and the Saturday concert is on my birthday so I'm going.

my good buddy said the same thing about Hudson Brick. Lets hope for the best!

I called capitol theatre...they had no idea about early entry...troubling. They told me to contact promoter and would send me a email....email never came. Guess I'll try next week.

Anyone that gets to the bottom of this...please share.

Thanks

Hi Nep & buicksix.
I got below reply today;

'Hello,
The check-in information for this show has yet to be determined, however we will send an informational e-mail to all purchasers approximately one week before each show date.
Sincerely,
SLO'

I also called the Capitol today.
they said early entry 'probably' means we should be there approx. 6:30 - 6:45pm.
I'll post any other directions I get from slotix
Have a good night :D

Just talked to SLO customer service on Capitol Theater early entry. They re-affirmed that an email will be going out today/tomorrow but that for the Capitol shows, the plan is that the early entry doors will probably only be like 10 minutes or so before the main doors. That there's typically a meeting point (e.g., the box office) for the early entry group, they gather the group, open the doors and then once everyone has their spot, the general doors open quickly after.
