He should have closed this tour with Things Haven't Changed.

I think it was the tightest and nicest show , that I have attending this year. I was singing along the whole show, I think its fun, I can't stop myself and it must be ok to sing along with your favorite band, Although that old black magic had no magic at all today. So sad! Now I´m sitting in my room at Hotel Templar Bar in crying my eyes out.
This was a peak show, just so well played, though they must be tired. Now they are going back home to the Amerikat I guess. I am so sad and I will miss The Bob Dylan band and Bob so much.
I love that Pouges fairytale song so much.

A shout-out to the Pogues in Dublin? Nice gesture. And probably the only acknowledgment of a specific place all tour.

Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore - Still In Love With You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaQjFgHyJs4

"It shows a young man listening to a Muse, who stands young and beautiful with a great lyre in her hand, and I think as I examine it, "I was good-looking once like that young man, but my unpractised verse was full of infirmity, my Muse old as it were, and now I am old and rheumatic and nothing to look at, but my Muse is young."

I am even persuaded that she is like those Angels in Swedenborg's vision, and moves perpetually "towards the dayspring of her youth.""
-- William Butler Yeats on his Nobel

Another tour with the same Bob Dylan & Frank Sinatra songs as last autumn ended yesterday.

28 different songs in 28 concerts, one real surprise (the great one-time Standing In The Doorway comeback on April 1 in Stockholm - maybe just a request of the Nobel Committee), two live-premieres (Stromy Weather and This Nearly Was Mine) following the release of a three-disc record (!!!), more piano playing instead of center stage performances, the disappearance of the harp, every now and then hatless stage appearances (wow!). That's it.

More and more my love to Mr. Dylan is beeing sorely tried. That really hurts me! :( Why try to be loyal now?

An absolute joy! Pretty much flawless all round. Bob was in strong voice and his delivery impeccable. The most perfect rendering of Tangled Up in Blue I've ever heard live.

At least Bob can take his hat off sometimes. A bald Bob MIGHT wear his hat for every picture  and when he finally took his hat off, bet it would reveal a more slimy, twofaced character with a massive ego that is not to be trusted. Just say whatever, and head for zee Hills before too late! Alas, Bob is really lucky to have so much beautiful curls.

After Bob walked onstage with his hat in his hand, he put it, top down, on the piano, and sang hatless until after "Stormy Weather". He took it off again for the formation after the concert was over.

Seven hatless formation shots are among the dozen Dublin pics which are now up on http://www.notdarkyet.org/dub17.html.
