Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself

Just read through all of these - most are easily recognizable, some I will look up, but why are we ending with Neil Young?
Or maybe I missed the joke and this was intentional?

Been so long since a strange woman has slept in my bed
Look how sweet she sleeps, how free must be her dreams
In another lifetime she must have owned(/ruled) the world, or been faithfully wed
To some righteous king who wrote psalms beside moonlit streams

I and I
In creation where one's nature neither honors nor forgives
I and I
One say to the other, no man sees my face and lives

You know we are strangers in a land we’re passing through
I’ll always be right by your side
I’ve got a covenant too

Then the sands will roll
Out a carpet of gold
For your weary toes to be a-touchin’
And the ship’s wise men
Will remind you once again
That the whole wide world is watchin’

We have many doing that in these times.

Though her skirt it swayed as a guitar played
Her mouth was watery and wet

Kind of lame on a literary basis, but perfect when you hear it sung at Plymouth Rock
