Not yet. There's new tickets available on eventim.de.

I'll skip this one for an extra night in Amsterdam. 8) Hope everyone going will manage to enjoy the show.

Happy Anniversary, JP!

Let's all hope Bob will mark the occasion appropriately. If he doesn't, we'll make it up to you and will buy you a drink or some candy - whatever you prefer.

If Dublin in four weeks would not have been on the tour schedule, I probably would have travelled to Düsseldorf for tonight's show. I have been to all four previous Dylan concerts in that hall, and the last time he was there (17 months ago) I even had a front row seat.

Image

Before November 8th 2003 Düsseldorf had been the only one of the ten largest cities in Germany where Bob Dylan had never played, this capital of North-Rhine-Westphalia, the state where I have lived most of my life, my early childhood even 20 miles north of Düsseldorf, and during my college years, as an intern, for 7 months in the city itself.

Most likely Dylan will repeat 14 of the 20 songs from 2015 tonight, and 12 from the 19 songs from 2013; but only 3 from the 17 songs from April 2007 (ten years ago almost to the day), and 1 song from the 17 in 2003.

This pic I took in Düsseldorf on November 10, 2015 (and have not seen Dylan since then).

with "#5 why try" make that 15 of the 20 songs from 2015

12 of the 16 Bob Dylan songs from tonight he had also performed in this venue in both 2015 and 2013

from the 21 songs tonight only one cover song (That Old Black Magic) and one Dylan song (Ballad Of A Thin Man) had never appeared on that Düsseldorf stage before

I try to find my two words for the postcard of the concert in Düsseldof, not easy... Coldness (audience) against coolness (Dylan, the band and me on black clothes - synthony).

Interesting.. I was sitting in the upper sections tonight and people seemed to be really bored. The gentleman next to me actually fell asleep I think after the LS/TUIB/ERK section. And I felt that "Spirit" is the moment in this set when many people get off the boat and lose interest.

Felt the same, sitting at the very back, dead center. The stage energy kinda got lost in the big room and people seemed pretty bored around me too.

This set definitely worked better in two parts and or with a few less songs, I'd say.

There were too many songs that were kinda alike esp. for casual fans to be interested for the entire set.

This was definitely the oldest Dylan I have seen, both literally and metaphorically.

Hall looked full, all sections were in use, no seats were closed off.

Strong performance by Bob, lots of loud Little-Richard-style piano parts (with Bob often standing at the piano), band super-tight, best vocal of the show perhaps on "Autumn Leaves", crowd enthusiastic down the front.
