Does Bob Dylan bring his Nobel Prize Medal on stage? His Oscar is always there, but has anyone spotted the Nobel Medal?

It is suggested that he does allow a glimpse of it, sometimes ...

A fake Oscar is really easy to find in a souvenir store, also it is a cheap thing. I've never seen a nobel prize medal in a bazaar or in a souvenir store. Perhaps that is the reason he doesn't show the medal onstage. :D

it is surely not on stage.
When I visited the Nobel prize museum in Stockholm I was told that you might get more for the medal than you get for the prize – some years ago some Nobel laureate sold his medal for some $ 4.000.000.
Anyway - I also found out that Nobel prize winners get free admission to the museum and a special discount at the café as well as in the gift shop. I guess that finally convinced Bob to accpet the honor.
Some years ago the Nobel museum also started a new tradition: Nobel laureates are asked to sing a chair of the museums café (the signiture is to be found at the bottom of the chair). I don't know if Bob Dylan did sign some chair, too. I've been to the museum on the day of the first show, i.e. before he got the medal. By the way: I sat on the chair signed by Obama (it's chair #47)

I just read in a Swedish newspaper that Dylan almost fotgot the medel when he met the Swedish Academy in a dressing room at Waterfront before the first show in Stockholm. The Swedish promotor from LiveNation Thomas Johansson then went and got the medal for Dylan. Then Dylan replied: "– ”Well, thank you for the Nobel prize Thomas”:)

Thank you for your comments - at the Nobel Banquet we had chocolate medals for the
coffee - Maybe Dylan could use one of those on stage as a substitute for the real thing.....

Yes, Welcome AMM.
So what can you tell us about the interaction at the ceremony?
Without breaking your NDA, of course.
